Eligible for revision of extra fat/tissue? (10 mo/FTM/periareolar) (Photos)

Question

Hello! I’m a 24 year old ftm who’s 10mo post-periareolar. I’ve felt that one side of my chest (my left, ur right) looks puffier than other for a while. I’ve been dismissed that it could be swelling that would go down, but reaching the 1 yr point I’m questioning if it’s actually fat or remaining breast tissue instead? I’m not entirely happy- it makes me feel like I have a small breast compared to the other side being much flatter. Could it qualify for a revision? And if so what types of revision?

Hi, excellent question. It's hard to answer your specific question without an exam. Overall, I think you have a very nice result. Some asymmetry is normal, as no one is completely symmetric from their right and left side. Generally speaking, revision can be done with re-excision or liposuction (if the residual tissue is fat).

At 10 months post procedure, the vast majority of the swelling has subsided and you are looking at the permanent results.  I do feel that your results are very nice, but I can see that your right side has a little more fat or breast tissue.  This may usually be adjusted with a short liposuction procedure.
I still feel the results are very good (without looking at your pre-op pics first)
