Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. I would advocate for careful incremental increases in lip size with a dermal filler such as Volbella. This will add subtle and natural volume to your lip without looking overdone. Hope this helps.
Erika. It appears that fat transfer is your best option because it sounds like you were pleased with the Gortex Lip Augmentation because you kept it for so long. Fat feels and looks more natural than implants like gortex, and studies indicate that approximately 85% remains permanently. I am not a fan of lip lift because of scarring. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
You would get a nice improvement with lip fillers. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical lip. PDO Nova threads can also be used to improve shape and provide lift. Fat is an alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Having already had lip implants in and then removed, I would not do implants again. It time to consider a lip lift or lip advancement based on what you want to achieve.
It would require an examination but the lips can be filled to make the pink part appear filler to provide more balance.
Without more background and better photos it's impossible to give specific recommendations. There are several filler agents that can give excellent temporary results. Properly performed fat transfer achieves results there are completely natural and last for many years.
Not sure what you are looking for and not sure why fillers were not adequate. A lip lift can be done but leaves a scar at the base of the lip nose junction.
Hi, I have performed many lip augmentation procedures using dermal fillers or lip implants for over 30 years. From the photo, your lips are quite thin. Following the beauty principles outlined in my book on face and body beauty, the upper lip should be approximately 75 % the size of the lower lip for the lips to appear balanced. The lips can be augmented using a dermal filler or a Permalip implant for a permanent enhancement. Lip lift will increase the amount of lip show however it does "not" and volume and fullness to the lips. This can only be achieved by adding volume to the red portion of the lips using a dermal filler or a lip implant (I prefer permanent lip silastic implants). Dermal filers and lip implants offer far more reliable volume to augment the lips than permanent fillers or fat injections that are also associated with increased, unwanted, side effects.Hope this helps.
Hi there, Thanks for posting your question. At rest, your lips look great. They are symmetrical and body volume of the lips are good. Has nice proportion to upper and lower lips. I do think that lateral borders of the lips has unproportionally less volume than mid portions of lips. I feel...
Thanks for your question. To fix the asymmetry of your lips requires the addition of dermal filler, which will make them fuller. Adding a small amount into the lower left portion of your lip will fix the symmetry you want. This will not make your lips appear larger overall. I recommend seeing an...
Anesthesia from dental work is unlikely to have anything to do with your mouth asymmetry now. There are cosmetic dermal fillers (Restylane/Juvederm) that can be used to help give improved symmetry to the lips and mouth. I would recommend an in-person consultation with a...
