I really hate my lips because the upper lip is uneven, one side is fuller than the other. It didn't bother me but I looked more at it and I really don't like it. What options do I have to make it even?
Answer: Solution to Upper lip asymmetry?? Seek out a board certified facial plastic surgeon who has vast experience with injectable fillers. There are numerous fillers available and the experience of your selected surgeon will allow him or her to direct you to a product that will work well with your lip asymmetry. You may require more than one session to get the result that you want and bear in mind that most available temporary fillers will need to be repeated every 6 to 14 months to maintain your desired result. Happy hunting !!

Answer: Uneven Upper Lip Hello and thank you for your question. Juvederm Filler can be utilized to help even out the upper lip. This filler lasts about 6-9 months. If you are looking for something more permanent & you would be ok with more fullness, you can try lipoinjection which is injecting your own fat. We would need a donor site to take the fat from so that would most likely be the abdomen since we only need a little bit of fat. I hope this helps!

Answer: Improving Lip Symmetry and Shape with Lip Augmentation--Fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Volbella), Implants, Fat You would get a nice improvement with lip fillers. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical lip. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: There are no perfect lips but your are pretty close. Please do not have surgery on them. No surgery will make your lip look better. If you want to experiment with hyaluronic acid fillers, avoid the so-called smooth fillers (they cause the funky lip shelf). These include products like Juvederm, Belotero, Restylane Silk. These products are runny in my opinion. Do your home work. Find a very experienced injector for this service.

Answer: To fix the asymmetry of your lips requires the addition of dermal filler, which will make them fuller. Thanks for your question. To fix the asymmetry of your lips requires the addition of dermal filler, which will make them fuller. Adding a small amount into the lower left portion of your lip will fix the symmetry you want. This will not make your lips appear larger overall. I recommend seeing an expert injector.
