I have nice full lips but they are droopy in the top corners. The top pic is what my lips looks like naturally with a resting face. The bottom pic shows all of my top lip and what I would want my lips to look like with a resting face. What is the best practical method for someone who doesn't have a lot to spend but wants to do see improvement? Thank you.
Answer: It's a lip lift! Sometimes fillers work well, but typically a lip lift is the best options. We adjust the lip so that it is held up exactly the way you are showing in the photograph. That's done in the office with local anesthesia and is both effective and well tolerated. Best of luck!

Answer: Volumizing Fillers Work Well For Raising & Straightening Downturned Angles Of The Mouth Basically your photo shows evidence of the downturing at the corner angles of the mouth representative of the incipient development of marionette lines. The use of a volumizing filler injected in an inverted K fashion should help to lift and straighten the angles and achieve the look you desire. Restylane Lyft would be my choice of volumizer in my Upper East Side Manhattan practice and Hyaluronica 2 would be my go-to in my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved volumizers are available. Make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and insist upon seeing his/her before and after photos of patients with a similar issue as yours. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Combination Treatment Options Thank you for your question. The corners of the mouth can easily befixed with the use of a dermal filler. The filler can be injected around thelips to help lift the corners of the mouth. There are many fillers that can beused in this area, Such as Juvederm or Restylane. I recommend having aconsultation with an expert to determine the best treatment plan for you. Bestof Luck

Answer: Combination Treatment Options There are several options for treatment here. As the other physicians have mentioned, there are a number of different fillers that can slightly augment the shape/appearance of the upper lip. Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm Volbella are my favorites and can be used together or seperately to adjust the edge of the lip and the volume inside the lip. Another option to consider in addition is using a little bit of botox/dysport to weaken the muscle called the depressor anguli oris (DAO). This muscle depresses the lateral corners of the mouth when engaged. Weakening this muscle allows the lip elevators to re-position the corners of the mouth in a slightly more upward position. It should only be done by an experienced injector, so be sure to research your provider.
