It looks puffy under in the center of the upper lip. I'm a bit concerned that it will stay like this. Granted it's only Day 1, but I've gotten my lips done before and this has never happened. I only used half a syringe since the other half were used for my nasal folds. Also the corners of the upper lip seem puffy as well making it look duckish. Again not sure if I am over reacting since it's only Day 1. I have iced it... been using Arnica pills and cream...

Sometimes fillers work well, but typically a lip lift is the best options. We adjust the lip so that it is held up exactly the way you are showing in the photograph. That's done in the office with local anesthesia and is both effective and well tolerated. Best of luck!

Dermal fillers are not normally sold in half syringes. If there is a place that does offer that option, it may be too little of an amount to notice a difference. You can have more injected and still receive a nice, subtle look. In my practice, I do my patients' filler injections myself...
