Love the description!Without knowing more like how much was injected it's safe to say that swelling is the culprit here. It will likely max out on day 2-3 then taper down.. Expect all the swelling do gone 1-2 weeks after the injection. Hope your look softens a bit so that you love it!Hope this helps and God Bless!Dr. Robb
Radiesse is an FDA-Approved filler that we use very frequently in our office to sculpt the contours of the face. Since we are a national center of excellence for filler reversal, we also encounter patients from other doctors' offices who wish to have Radiesse fillers removed for one reason or another. In our office, we employ a directed technique to visualize the filler material, if possible on ultrasound, and then use non-surgical methods to dissolve the filler or granuloma tissue using intralesional injections. There are many methods using a combination of enzymes, intralesional modulators of scar tissue, and Kenalog to help reduce volume and remaining filler. These techniques require meticulous attention to detail and can be performed at intervals of two to three weeks to achieve longterm effect. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
First of all, nice use of the word maleficent :) Appreciate the vocabulary. As for your issue - it is most likely swelling, as it is very soon after the procedure. If you are concerned you should have your doctor reexamine you. If it is swelling, gentle massage and/or icing can help, and it should go away over the next week.Hope this helps! Best, Dr. Cabin
Yes, you most likely have swelling, which will resolve in 1-2 weeks. If you're unhappy with your final results, venus legacy, 5FU steroids and lasers can help soften results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
It appears as if it was slightly over corrected , but on the other hand Radiesse tends to generate greater inflammatory response compared to HA fillers and therefore it is expected to see a greater amount of swelling first few days after the procedure. Hang in there, apply some very gentle massage not to diminish the intended result and see your doctor for a further advice. Good luck!!
It is probably some swelling but it appears it was placed too laterally.wait a week and see what it looks like and be sure you see a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon
It is hard to tell not knowing where the Radiesse was injected ( how many areas per side and the volume placed in each) this could jus the swelling but honestly it looks like possible more radiuses was placed in that one area than in other areas overfilling the cheek. At this point you can mold it down al little with the fingers or palm of your hand to decrease the height.
At this stage (15 hours post-procedure) it's almost certainly some swelling; you should contact your PS to be sure. Some massage may help flatten that area out but whether or not that should be done is something that can't be assessed via this forum. Getting the info from your PS should help provide guidance. I hope that this helps and good luck, Dr. Alan Engler, Member of #RealSelf500
You’re doing the right thing in applying warm compresses to the affected area, as the general rule is to apply cold during the first day and warm after that. The only other thing you can do is to wait for enough time to pass that the bruising has healed. It’s nothing to worry about and sho...

It won't necessarily last two years and it will slowly dissolve over time. It's tough to answer the second question without before and after pictures, but yes, radiesse can create fullness depending on where it was injected. Radiofrequency and/or laser can help if you are unhappy. 5fu or sal...
