No, Radiesse won't cause bone growth. Radiesse develops collagen and helps the skin improve volume and texture. If performed with the proper technique and skill, you will get an excellent result. I recommend getting a formal consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. Although Radiesse is calcium based it will not stimulate bone growth or have a negative impact when injected into a fatty layer. It is recommend that it be injected within the fat layers to add volume to the face. I recommend having a consultation with an expert injector.
Radiesse has calcium hydroxyapatite which stimulates your collagen to grow and then it disappears so no it will not induce bone growth. The proper plane is to inject just above the fat not into the skin itself. If it is injected into the fat it will not be very effective
Hi, I have used Radiesse for shaping the cheeks, chin and jaw line for many years. Though it is calcium based, Radiesse will not cause/stimulate bone growth nor will it have any negative impact when injected into a fatty layer. In fact, it's recommended for volume creation and that it be placed within the fat layers of the face.Hope this helps.
