Hello there! A chin implant is a great option for more longstanding changes to the chin. There are a number of different types ranging from silicone to MedPor. The nice thing about implants is they come in a variety of shapes - some more feminine than others. Additionally, the implant can be carved further if needed. The amount of projection is one variable that is addressed in addition to narrowness created on the front view. I would explore options with a surgeon to determine which may be best. In our practice for most women, we use size small pre-jowl chin implants with an excellent success rate for over 25 years. It's important to remember that most of the augmentation occurs in the forward projection, but there's a small amount of augmentation giving width and a small amount of vertical height as well. Your chin is three-dimensional, and the augmentation is three-dimensional. We also placed chin implants under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure which takes approximately 30 minutes.

Implants and fillers are however inherently different. fillers blend into the surrounding tissue beautifully while implants are very much quantum change in tissue layers.

The current augmentation with filler is giving nice projection without creating an excessive deep or acute labiomental sulcus/angle.

Personally I always prefer to bring different size implants and use a set of temporary sizers during surgery before committing to the final size implant.
And plants give very different projection when sitting on the bone compared to simply placing them on top of your skin. Some plastic surgeons pre-determine the size and shape of implant to use and only bring one implant for surgery while others use temporary sizers during surgery and have a selection of implants to choose from and make the final decision in the operating room.

Your development pattern is quite vertical/higher slope to jawline and likely some lip strain putting lips together. The implant route does not allow a proper reduction/consideration of the vertical dimension of the chin; and can indeed look quite 'full' due to the shape of the preformed chin implants.
