I've been getting chin filler for a number of years and would like to make the permanent move to get a chin implant. Attached are my pictures pre-filler and the last 2 pictures after filler. What (if any) chin implant type would give me a similar result to the filler I currently have? I'm extremely concerned about the implant making my face look wider or more masculine.
Answer: Chin İmplant Hello! thank you for your question If the implant volume is chosen correctly, your face will not look like a man, on the contrary, the lines on your chin will be more pronounced, people usually prefer surgery as the right choice (a permanent result), you can continue to have fillers, but it can leave a long-term cost and bad side effects on the skin. Thank you ! regards

Answer: What you should know about chin implants Thank you for your question and for providing photos. Since you like the aesthetics that fillers provide, a chin implant is an excellent option to improve the appearance of your chin for longer-lasting results. The implant can be custom-fit to suit your specific needs, create balance with the rest of your facial features, and provide a feminine result. Chin implants are available in a variety of materials, such as silicone, elastomers, porous polyethylene, and ePTFE. Silicone implants are generally preferred because they are easy to customize to the ideal shape for each patient, and can be easily removed at a later date should that be desired. However, all chin implant options are malleable and porous so that they can be held in place by soft tissue and grow into the existing bone while healing. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon who can review your aesthetic goals and suggest the best course of action for you.

Answer: Chin implant You are an excellent candidate for a chin implant. The amount of projection that you need is not extreme. I usually place an "extended anatomical implant" that has a nice taper laterally so it doesn't make the chin appear wider. I prefer silicone implants because they are easily customized during surgery. In order to prevent migration, I place 2 small bone screws to hold the implant in the correct position.

Answer: Chin Implant Hello there! A chin implant is a great option for more longstanding changes to the chin. There are a number of different types ranging from silicone to MedPor. The nice thing about implants is they come in a variety of shapes - some more feminine than others. Additionally, the implant can be carved further if needed. The amount of projection is one variable that is addressed in addition to narrowness created on the front view. I would explore options with a surgeon to determine which may be best. Hope this helps you!

Answer: Chin Augmentation Based on your photographs you would be a good candidate for chin augmentation. A chin implant in combination help to balance your facial proportions. The best way to determine what specific changes will look good on your face, and what changes are surgically possible, is to do your research to find the top facial plastic surgeons and consult with several of them in person. During your consultation, your photos can be computer-morphed to show how the changes to your nose will affect your appearance. Consult with 2-3 of these surgeons in person and determine your comfort level with their approach, demeanor, and before and after results. Good luck! #drdonyoo
