I had a breast lift with implant exchange done 3 months ago and as I’m healing, I noticed they are becoming more uneven. They are not the same shape and not level. Is this something that can be fixed?
Answer: Implant revision Thank you for your question. You are right that your breasts appear to be different sizes and shapes. This can certainly be revised. The key is to understand why this is happening however. Do you have capsular contracture on the right side? Do you have excess fluid buildup on the left side?Did the surgeon put in a different size implants? Were you asymmetric before surgery, and putting the implants in magnified the asymmetries? Only after getting to the bottom of this can you expect a good, long lasting result. Good luck.

Answer: Surgery results Dear Lizzy1323, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the early stages of the healing process. You will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast surgery. Answer: Are uneven breasts easy to correct due to a poor procedure? Finally a nude frontal view posted photo, nicely done. Yes you have asymmetry to volume, shape, location. Only surgery can improve symmetry. I might offer on smaller breast fat grafting to gain volume symmetry or exchange of implant to 50-100 cc increase, or both. On larger side do N/A reduction to gain N/As symmetry in circumferences. fee $8,000+ Best to virtual consult with...

Answer: Breast asymmetry Lizzy, You must wait several more months before considering any revision procedure. I would go to your plastic surgeon for their opinion as well. There are several asymmetries of your breasts that may require a revision procedure. Time will certainly tell. Dr. Taranow
