I had as breast to uplift 16 month ago but ended up with smaller breasts than expected. Had implants put in 7 month ago but they seem too high / not dropping into a natural position. Will i need revision surgery?
Answer: Implants You may need more lift and smaller implants to achieve a better look. What size implants you have now do appear high and a little large for your frame.

Answer: Revision needed Your breast lift was inadequate. Your breast implants are at one level and the breast tissue is at another level. You will need to lower the implants or lower your breasts. You will need a revision. The disadvantage of lowering the implants is they will often descend even further. You would be better off with a more significant lift. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: BA results Dear Kimmyb86, 16 months after surgery, your results are final. I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Revision breast augmentation I agree with you that your implants are a bit too high. A revision augmentation with partial capsulotomy (opening of your capsules-scar tissue around the implants) or partial capsulectomy (removal of some of the scar tissue) would fix your problems. Best wishes. Dr. Taranow

Answer: Breast augmentation after breast lift Dear KimmyB86, Overall, your results look very good. The 6 month breast implant settling time is not a hard and fast time period. Sometimes it takes several months beyond that. Follow your plastic surgeon's guidance and good luck!
