Is there anything a patient should do after mole removal to ensure optimal healing/minimize scarring? Especially if it's a deep shave excision with no stitches?

The mole can be excised quite easily by a Plastic Surgeon. A wedge shaped incision is made and tends to heal without scarring in the lip region. Since it encompasses a very small percentage of the width in the upper lip, the wound can then be closed primarily with minimal distortion
