How long after a rhinoplasty is it safe to get dental work? Specifically a gum graft?

Question

I need a gum graft and rhinoplasty. For insurance purposes, I want to get the rhinoplasty first. How long after the rhinoplasty should I wait to get the gum graft? I will likely also get a tooth cleaning + refill a cavity in my molar at the same time.

As far as I can understand from your question I recommend waiting 2 months after the rhinoplasty operation for this procedure.

You could have dental work after just a few weeks if you are feeling up to it. There really is no magic time frame, so discuss it with your surgeon to make sure they give the ok

Most patients are nearly normal one week after a rhinoplasty although there may be some residual bruising under the eyes. By two weeks, the healing is adequate for you to undergo some oral work. Adding additional time to that would only make things better. Best wishes.

It's acceptable to undergo any dental work about a month after your rhinoplasty procedure. That'll give you time to heal from the nose surgery before undergoing the gum graft/ dental work. Choose your rhinoplasty specialist wisely based on extensive experience, since this is one of the most difficult procedures to perform correctly in the entire field of cosmetic surgery.

In most cases Yone is able  able to get dental work about 6 weeks  after your rhinoplasty. Of course the course of healing has to be taken into consideration including the complexity of the rhinoplasty. You should seek consultation by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Good luck!
