I've lost some weight and have some "loose skin" (subcutaneous fat) on my chest. If I get sculpsure done on that area, will I become flat chested?
Answer: Sculpsure effect on the breast Sculpsure works locally to the area and so if it is done on abdomen or flanks then the fat reduction will only affect that area. In other words, it will not reduce your breasts if your treatment is done in another area. I would not recommend doing Sculpsure on the breasts because not enough information is known on it affects the fat in this area. Sculpsure should not be done for the sole reason of tightening loose skin because it was not designed for this nor does it have a great impact on skin laxity. There are better treatments for tightening loose skin. Sculpsure is designed to treat unwanted fat pockets.

Answer: SculpSure for Breasts? I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish with SculpSure of the breasts - I would not recommend that as an option for either tightening loose skin or decreasing breast size. From your question, it sounds like you are comfortable with the size of your breasts, but not with the shape, due to the loose skin. This often causes sagging, or "ptosis," the medical term for this. For breast ptosis, the surgical treatment is a breast lift or "mastopexy." There are various different techniques of mastopexy, depending upon the degree of ptosis, but all involve incisions and scars and are fairly expensive. A good, minimally-invasive surgical technique is ThermiTight. This procedure requires local anesthetic (numbing) to the skin of the breast and uses radio-frequency (RF) energy to heat the skin from the inside. It is very safe and comfortable and can be done with no other anesthetic or oral sedation for those who are more anxious. It would not be an appropriate option for someone with moderate to severe ptosis, as it will not make a big enough difference, but for mild to moderate cases, it is a good option, which will leave no scars.

Answer: SculpSure & Breasts I don't recommend SculpSure for treating the breasts. If you are using it to treat the abdomen, it is a localized treatment and will not affect the breast area. My best advice would be for you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to be assessed in person and discuss the best body contouring procedures for your needs.
