Thank you for your question. SculpSure is designed to be a toning treatment rather than a fat reduction treatment. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to learn more about your candidacy and the procedure itself.Best wishes,
Sculpsure is a non invasive technique to reduce fat volume. Studies have shown that up to a 24% reduction occurs in an area. Celluite is best treated with other modalities like celfina, fat injections, or fillers. However, I have seen some improvement in cellulite following 3 treatments of sculpture. I can't say whether this improvement in cellulite will be permanent or just a temporary effect of the treatment.
SculpSure is a non-invasive method to permanently reduce up to 24% of the fat cells in the treated area in a single 25 minute treatment. SculpSure does not directly address the underlying cause of Cellulite which are fibrous bands of connective tissue that pull down on the undersurface of the skin causing that dimpled look. In my experience Cellfina is the best treatment for Celllulite as it directly releases the fibrous bands that cause the dimpling of the skin. SculpSure and Cellfina can be combined to treat both the extra fat and the cellulite.
Sculpsure is an FDA proven noninvasive way to reduce up to 24% of fat cells in a given treatment area but is not considered a cellulite treatment. We have used Sculpsure for over a year now in our practice with very good fat reduction results.
Thank you for your question.Happy New Year!Sculpsure is a noninvasive 1060nm diode laser treatment that removes up to 25% of stubborn fat in the treated area in 25 minutes. It is FDA approved for the abdomen and flanks. It is safe if you get pregnant in the future. The body contouring effects are seen in as quick as six weeks with final results at 12 weeks. The results are permanent as long as you maintain your weight and health. The laser targets and destroys the fat cells only which are then naturally removed from the body. Since the laser does not affect the skin or muscle it can be used on all skin colors and there has been no reported incidents of burns when treated by a properly trained physician. It is protective since it alternates heating and cooling. It has four applicators that can be customized to treat the areas of stubborn fat. If a second treatment is needed we wait at least six weeks and usually closer to 12. If you notice lumps after (which I've never seen) I would recommend massage. You should also alert your surgeon. No compression garment required. There is no downtime and you can resume your normal activities right after the treatment. There may be some soreness in the area for a few days for which you can take ibuprofen or tylenol. A cold compress can also be used. Sculpsure is not used for skin tightening however some of our patients have seen this. If more skin tightening is needed we have combined this with thermi or Ulthera for a complete treatment. Sculpsure is recommended for stubborn areas of fat that are not being lost by diet and exercise. It is not a weight loss treatment Since I have both a coolsculpting and sculpsure I am working on protocols of utilizing both of these depending upon what areas need to be treated and the response to the treatment. I have used sculpsure on other areas other than the abdomen with very good results. I also use a Vectra 3D imaging system to try and show people what their treatment areas could look like. Since Sculpsure outcomes can be based on technique and experience, please see a board certified plastic surgeon that specializes body contouring to see if Sculpsure or other treatments are available to meet your goals. Take care, Dr. Schwartz Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Cellulite is not improved with non invasive fat removal technologies like sculpsure. You can combine sculpsure and coolsculpting with cellutone and vanquish. But the best is combining sculptra with cellfina. Please see an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
Sculpsure works very well in eliminating subcutaneous fat cells, but it is not indicated for cellulite.
If cellulite is your main concern, I would suggest that you look into Cellfina which is a treatment specifically designed to target cellulite. Hope this helps --
Thank you for your question. SculpSure™ is FDA- approved and non-invasive treatment in killing fat cells in unwanted areas such as flanks, abdomen, upper arms, thighs, knees, and other locations with fat deposits. The heating energy of the SculpSure™ laser also causes the production of collagen and elastin, making the treated area look firmer and younger. Please note that while it does kill fat cells it does not treat cellulite. For more information, I recommend getting a in person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist.
While SculpSure is an excellent way to reduce fat non-surgically, it does little to improve the appearance of cellulite. I would recommend investigating Cellfina, which is FDA-cleared to improve cellulite for over 2 years with a single minimally invasive treatment. A consultation with an experienced provider will help determine what treatment will best meet your needs.

Thank you for your question. Yes, you can receive the SculpSure treatment because the procedure does not affect the deeper components of your skin. It targets fat reduction in the subcutaneous areas. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon. ...
SculpSure has minimal negative side effects. The treatment can be uncomfortable and the result may not be what you hoped but the only long lasting effect I can think of might be formation of a nodule. Traumatized fat can form hard nodules which typically resolve with time. Mostly they are not...
Thank you for your question. The procedure itself is very simple. The laser disrupts subcutaneous fat cells, heating them, and prompting the body to dispose of them. While the laser does heat the subcutaneous fat, the device counteracts this by using technology to prevent damage to the skin and...
