I'm looking for a clinic that offers sculpsure in Montreal. There just doesn't see to be any yet! I'm about to do coolsculpting for the abdomen and flanks but having doubts as I hear that Sculpsure is less painful and as effective. I'm not very big. In my ideal Bmi 135lbs 5'7"

I suggest a fire and ice treatment with coolsculpting and vanquish. we found the best results with this over sculpsure. Sculpsure has less pain, but less inflammation which is needed for more outcome and skin tightening.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I prefer SculpSure to CoolSculpting so if you can find someone who does it in your area, it would be worth it. Check the Cynosure website (the maker of SculpSure) and if there is no one in your area, call them to see if they know when it may be available. Best of luck.

Unfortunately I do not know if anyone is currently offering SculpSure in Montreal, however I can offer some insight on the benefits of SculpSure versus CoolSculpting. SculpSure uses heat to target and destroy subcutaneous fat and tighten skin in 25 minutes. Many patients report mild to moderate discomfort during the procedure, however there are no negative side effects and you can return to all normal activities immediately following. CoolSculpting on the other hand uses cold to freeze the fat cells in one hour. Patients also report mild to moderate discomfort during the procedure, however there are negative side effects associated, ranging from swelling and bruising to more serious side effects like nerve damage. SculpSure is the safest, fastest and most effective non-invasive fat loss procedure available on the market today. My best advice would be to do your research to determine which procedure is better for you and don't let what is available in your area determine what you have done (unless of course you decide CoolSculpting is the better option).

My personal philosophy is to hold out for the procedure you really want. If you end up choosing something that is less desirable because of convenience, then you may be setting yourself up for disappointment. Sculpsure has many advantages over Coolsculpting. If no one in your area offers the procedure, then I would fly to where it is offered (look for an inexpensive fare to that city). Find the best Sculpsure expert at the best price and get a consultation over the phone. This way, when you arrive, you can get the evaluation and treatment in one visit. The idea is to really get what you want!

Both CoolSculpting and SculpSure reduce fat on average 25%.  They are both non surgical and do not require anesthesia or surgery. CoolSculpting uses cold to freeze and destroy the fat cells, where as SculpSure uses heat ( laser ) to destroy the fat cells.  SculpSure is newer and as correctly stated has less pain during the treatment session and less post treatment problems.  Try looking up the parent company of SculpSure, Cynosure, and see if any physicians in the Montreal area have the machine yet.Good Luck!
