I made a mistake in not cutting my entire hair off before the fue procedure. When is it safe to cut off the rest of my hair so I can look normal.

Answer: 1 week post op In order to have a hair cut ı would suggest you to wait a month. In oredr to use clippers on your transplanted area, you have to wait 6 months

Answer: It depends if we are talking about the donor or the recipient area Usually passed 8-10 days you are safe to cut the sides and back of your head. We do recommend a bit longer to let the donor area heal better and for the skin to contact itself back to normal. However the recipient of your scalp (top) where the grafts have been placed should remain untouched for 4 weeks post op. Even though you are in the safe zone passed 14 days op you still may have scabs and you don't want to scratch them off as you may hank out the grafts themselves. I hope this helps.

Answer: Shaving after FUE If the crusts are off, you can easilly shave the head without worryg about pulling out crusts that contain grafts
