The answer to this question is not so simple or clear. It really depends on how well the fat was processed. If all the tumescent fluid and blood was removed, and you were left with fat only, then my colleagues have already answered your question below. However, if some of the fluid is left behind, then it will be absorbed and you will be left with less than the actual amount of transfer.
Fat is slightly less dense than water, which has a specific gravity of 1 g per cubic centimeter. So 2300 total cc would be slightly less than 2300 g, with 454 g to 1 lb.Find an expert of BBLs and fat transfers.Kenneth Hughes, MDLos Angeles, CA
Thank you for your question. Very roughly, 1,000 grams or 1,000 cc's weighs approximately 2.2 lbs. While not exact this a reasonable approximation. If 2300 cc's of fat was transferred that translates to approximately 5 lbs of fat. After body contouring procedures such as liposuction or fat transfer what is removed or put in does not translate directly to your weight due to swelling, fluid retention and other factors. Hope this helps. Best wishes on your recovery
There are 2.2 pounds per kilogram. So 1600+ 700 equals 2300 gms which is 2.3 kilograms. This will be about 5 lbs of fat.

It doesn't take much fat at all for facial fat grafting. My patients include models and athletes with very limited body fat. Fat is the only material one should consider having placed under the eyes. When expertly administered fat provides a smooth, natural looking result that can be...
Hello, Facial fat transfercan be safely performed in the office without sedation. We routinely transfer smaller volumes 10-15mL using a combination of local anesthesia with Valium for relaxation. I tend to think we can achieve better resultswhen the patient is awake and in a seated position ...
