I tell patients to do the best they can, to try and sleep on their side if possible.  A soft mattress may help or pillows under each of the treated areas.  It would be best to follow your surgeons instructions, as each person is very particular with their post operative instructions....

This is a common case of post traumatic fat loss. It can be improved with fat transfer. Sometimes more than one session may be required. For smaller areas like yours this can be performed as an office procedure. 

Sats you are too early in the healing process to begin worrying about your final result.  Fat transfer is known to be associated with significant swelling which can last for months.  I recommend following up with your PS to be sure but your swelling will reduce as the months pass....

While fat grafting to the hips can certainly improve their shape and fullness, it's not possible to promise that it will completely "balance out" broad shoulders.  But it should certainly look more proportional that it does prior to surgery.
