Over the years I've noticed that the sides of my head give off a peanut shape. What would be the best option to make it look full that's cost effective and long lasting?

For permanent results, I prefer silicone implants for temporal hollowing. Fillers work well, but this area requires several syringes on each side and is temporary. Fat grafting is another excellent consideration.

Temples can be improved with fillers (Juvederm, Voluma, Radiesse) or Sculptra. Fat is an alternative. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

I feel fat grafting is the best option for sunken temples. You get more, and it could last longer. That is provided you have fat elsewhere. I would not recommend an implant. Filler can be used but it does take a few syringes and can get costly.

I think filler is a better treatment option. My preferred filler for the temples is Sculptra Aesthetic. Results can last up 2.5 years although should be maintained with yearly treatments.

I do see the changes that you are noticing in your temples. In my experience, Sculptra is the best option for treatment. Sculptra is an injectable filler that has long-lasting results and is very effective for this particular area.
Consider seeing an ASOPRS oculoplastic surgeon in your area for a consultation.

Bellafill or Sculptra work great in the Temple area and are longer lasting than HA's. Your own Fat is an option as well, but tends to need several treatments as it doesn't take in the temples as well as other area's of the face.
