What could be done to minimize the appearance of the dip between my nose and forehead? (photos)

I would like the dip where my nasion meets my glabella to look more like pictures 2 and 3. I feel that the dip is too deep and that it makes my forehead look like its sticking out. I'm looking to get it fixed in the near future.

A dorsal nasal implant, or injectable fillers may be considered for raising your nasal bridge and filling the deep angle between your nasal bridge and forehead. In our practice we prefer permanent nonsurgical rhinoplastic treatments with microdroplet Silikon-1000. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you appear to have a low radix.  Your radix can be augmented to a higher position with diced cartilage wrapped in fascia (DCF).   Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system.  You should be able to view numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performed by your surgeon.

Your radix (name of the area you mention) is deep. You can address this with fillers. Of course there are surgical options to lower the forehead and build up the nose so you can have a more drastic profile change. Consult a facial plastic surgeon to over the details and the options

Thank you for your photos. The easiest and fastest solution is to have a non-surgical nose job where filler is placed to bring up your bridge and soften that dip. I prefer to use VOLUMA which can last to up to a year and is reversible in case you do not like the look. A surgical rhinoplasty can also be performed to place an implant or graft for more permanent results. Hope this helps!

A rhinoplasty procedure can accomplish building up the glabella  With a cartilage graft harvested from inside the nose in order to build up that area.

There are multiple materials to use to build up the radix area of your nose from carriage grafts to implants, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. Given the magnitude of the augmentation it would take a diced rib graft if cartilage is used.

I feel your profile is not bad. But if you wanted to make it look more like the picture you showed, the best would be a nasofrontal/dorsal cartilage graft. This would be harvested from your nasal septum. I would discourage your from using artificial implants. Fillers are an option but usually this is temporary.
