Revision Rhinoplasty/Septoplasty/turbinoplasty I met with 3 surgeons to consult on a revision rhinoplasty. My concern was a blocked airway on one side which made breathing difficult and was effecting my sleep. Dr. Afrooz was confident, and incredibly patient during my consultation. He explained to me the issues he could see, the possibilities of what he could not see and assured me that he would do the best he could to correct the failed grafts from another surgeon 20 years prior. (This is a surgery that I was pre-approved under my insurance, but there were no surgeons who I trusted to take on my case, under my policy. I chose to pay out of pocket, as Dr. Afrooz was the only surgeon I felt was skilled enough to correct my breathing issues). My surgery was shorter than expected and I had very little bruising and swelling. Dr. Afrooz nurse was gentle at my post op cast and splint removal. I am now 3.5 weeks post op and am incredibly happy with my results. My breathing has improved at least 70% and this is not the final result as I am still healing. He was worth the trip as I traveled from out of state. I can finally breathe normally and he was worth it! I highly recommend Dr. Afrooz!

Dr. Afrooz is a magician, a master!! I came to him after having 3 operations on my nose. I saw a few doctors before I saw Dr. Afrooz but when I met him I just knew that he’s the one that’s going to give me the most beautiful nose I can dream of and he did!!! All the doctors that I saw before told me that because i have thick skin and had 3 surgeries on my nose before they could achieve minimal results. Dr afrooz was the only doctor that said that he will do his best and he is very positive about the outcome of the surgery. And let me tell you he gave me more than he promised! I told him i wanted a Turkish nose and he delivered! Amazing experience with Dr. Afrooz! As a very fair skinned 74 year old female, I needed face lift and neck lift. So, I consulted the best plastic surgeon in my Central Florida metropolitan city. The plastic surgeon said my surgery was too complex. He referred me to Dr. Afrooz saying he is the best plastic surgeon he knows; that Dr. Afrooz has devoted his career to face lift and neck lift surgery. My surgery went flawlessly. I was fairly comfortable on the 2nd day after the surgery. Dr. Afrooz and his staff constantly kept in touch using phone calls and text messages. Dr. Afrooz is a perfectionist! For 7 days after surgery, he kept a close watch on my progress, and answered all my questions patiently and compassionately. Likewise, his office staff is very caring, empathetic and sincere. They were courteous prompt and responsive about my questions and requests. Overall, I am **extremely pleased** with the surgery and the outcome is much better than I expected. I would highly recommend Dr. Afrooz to anyone, especially if they need more advanced surgery.

I have hated my side profile and chin/neck since my early 20s. I even got a few consultations back then and doctors recommend lipo in the neck but I never went through with it. Finally at 34, and an iPhone full of pictures of my neck and sideview I finally started the journey of looking for facial plastic surgeon. I went to go see 5 doctors all who told me different things. I ended up with Dr. Afrooz because he was so calm and really seemed like he knew what he was doing. He explained that lipo was not the solution, I needed to tighten the platysmas muscles and take out the feel fat from the neck, all things that couldn't be done with lipo. He even drew for me exactly what he would do for me during his consultation. He also told me I didn't need a small chin implant as it would make my face more masculine. I booked with him right away I felt confident and was anxious to get my new snatched neck. During my preop appt a week before surgery, he made me feel very secure. I brought in literally pages of printed inspirational pics. Most doctors would have been annoyed but he listened to all my bullet points ( I had like 12) and explained and went over all the details with me and my husband. The day of my surgery I went in early. The facility and staff were great. The anesthesiologist was very friendly and outgoing I jokingly asked him to please not kill me as I get very nervous about general anesthesia and he explained how general is actually safer than local iv anesthesia. After the surgery, I went home with a wrap on my head (head compression) I was groggy but had zero pain, except some discomfort from the tube that goes down ur throat for the anesthesia. 8 days post up and I am very happy with the results so far. I will keep updating here but I have to say that I am glad so far I went with him. He was quickly to video call when I had questions after surgery (even if it was the week of thanksgiving) his nurses texted me back when I had random questions. I am waiting for swelling to go down even more but I am loving my neck now. I am also glad I didn't do a chin implant as he was right and as my neck tightened my chin stand outs more. I have a tendency to keloid so I am praying my scar heals ok! I will come back for updates. Updated on 3 Dec 2021: So far liking what I see. Hoping more swelling goes down and I get even more chiseled jawline. Updated on 8 Mar 2022: Very happy with the results. Scar is under chin and though I scar badly usually, I didn’t this time. I would have liked a more chiseled jaw area but I believe that would be another procedure. What I wanted and asked for was my neck lifted and that’s what was done.

My experience with Dr. Afrooz, Nurse Jess, and all of the staff has been nothing less than amazing. Everyone has been so attentive, reassuring and helpful before, and after surgery. They calmed my nerves and answered all questions I had. The staff is always reachable and very knowledgeable!

I had done so much research before choosing a doctor but once I saw his work I decided he was the one. I had a rhinoplasty and breast augmentation procedure done by him and he did an excellent job. It was truly my expectations. Everything looks so natural, the scaring is really minimal and the care from his staff and himself was like no other. It truly was a great experience. I do not trust anyone else’s vision, only his.

Dr Afrooz truly is the best. I had contemplated rhinoplasty for several years and had searched for so many doctors, including some in L.A. who are purportedly "the best" in the business. However, none left me feeling like I had found the right doctor. As soon as I met Dr Afrooz, I knew he was the one. He struck the right balance of listening to my objectives but helping me interpret what it is I needed to achieve the result I was looking for. I had a slightly complicated case but he completely exceeded all of my expectations. He is a complete pro and perfectionist - yet, down to earth and patient-focused. I was never treated like a number. I'm only 3 weeks out and the result is better than I could have ever wanted. It's natural, maintains a masculine look, and fits my face proportionally. The staff and patient coordinators were also amazing and made the entire journey easy and comfortable. I can't recommend Dr Afrooz enough. If you're contemplating rhinoplasty and looking for as close to perfect as possible, you definitely should consider him, whether you live in Miami or not.
