Yes, you can travel by plane after a Kybella. You will be swollen but there is no reason you couldn’t travel. Best of luck to you!
Kybella has no downtime, so you should be fine if you want to fly the next day. However, you will probably be a little swollen and sore, so if that would make you uncomfortable you should consider delaying your treatment until you’ve finished your travels. Consulting a board-certified dermatologist will help you come up with the perfect plan.
Thank you for your question! Yes, you can get on a plane after Kybella. There is no contraindication. Safe travels!
Although there is some noticeable swelling after a Kybella treatment, you may still travel same day or next day.Good luck!
Hi and thank you for your question! In general there is no restriction for flying after Kybella but like any other cosmetic injections, the two weeks following the injection is the most critical period in terms of swelling and possible complications which might require a follow up, so I generally recommend to my patients to plan their treatment accordingly to be able to come to see me if needed in the 2-week period although it is usually not required. Regarding Kybella injection, you might have some swelling or discomfort in the next few days following the injection so make sure to discuss your plans with your physician and see if any prophylactic medications like NSAIDs would be recommended. I hope it helps and good luck!
This should be fine, there is no down-time with Kybella. Kybella is best for patients that:1) Do not want surgery 2) Are not surgical candidates 3) Not willing to wear a compression dressing around the face for 1 week 4) Patient- The results of Kybella will take monthsKybella take 1-3 treatments every 6 weeks. Patient will develop swelling and possible bruising after each injection that may last a few days. The benefit of Kybella is each treatment is quick and completed in the office. However, some patients need more than one treatment to get desired results. I hope this helps.
I would not see any harm in flying a day after a Kybella treatment, but it is important to know that most people get noticeable swelling in the neck after the procedure. You could hide this with a scarf or something similar though.
There would be no contraindication to flying after a kybella treatment. You may however be swollen, tender and potentially bruised after the procedure. You may want to plan your travel a few days after the procedure just to make sure you are feeling your best and you can discuss any concerns you have with your physician before you travel.
You should know that the area injected will swell up noticeably the first few days after the injection. In addition this area may be tender. For this reason you may not want to fly the day after an injection. I hope you find this information useful.

Your doctor probably did not "misfire". This product is well described to cause motor nerve injury. This is just a nasty product. It causes all sorts of inflammation. After all this inflammation and harm to the motor nerves, you will likely be left with very little treatment effect. Most pe...
