Any surgery has risks associated with it. General anesthesia increases these risks. Elective aesthetic procedures are appropriate to do when the Pro's outweigh the Con's. I suggest you meet with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who operates an an accredited facility with Board Certified Anesthesiologists. A consultation with a surgeon is the best place to ask these questions. I wish you well.
