Was my gyno surgery successful or is there remaining gland? (Photos)

Question

It's been three months i do see changes but not so, my doctor said he removed all the gland but i don't see it that way as i still have hard tissue underneath plus i am from different city, so i need confirmation?

At 3 months it is hard to know without a physical exam if what you are experiencing is breast tissue, swelling or scar formation. You need to wait about 3 more months to see your final result. If you are still not happy you need to have a discussion with your surgeon. Good luck.

This is a very common concern for patient that have gynaecomastia procedures.
In my opinion you have a good result so far

About the hardening I always explain this to my patient in advance as it can be cause of unnecessary concerns.
You need to understand that when we remove tissue from behind your nipples that has been there for a while you will be left with a cavity or empty space and your body will fill that space with "healing tissue " ( scar, blood , fluid).. It will take at lest 12 months for that to settle and it might never settle completely. The fact that you have hardening does not mean that there is still breast tissue but could be just the result of breast tissue been removed,

I'm afraid I'm not able to accurately tell whether or not the tissue you feel is residual breast tissue or part of the normal inflammatory and scar maturation process. 
I recommend you reach out and speak directly with the surgeon that performed the case and has been giving you postoperative follow-up.

usermikeA,Without performing an in person physical exam it is difficult to determine if there is residual gland versus swelling or just skin laxity. I would recommend allowing up to six months for the postoperative swelling to resolve and if you are still concerned about the results you should follow up with you surgeon to discuss the next step.
