I chose Dr. Felice based off a few things to do my tummy tuck. Once we met for my consultation he was very professional, kind and truthful. I also respected him for being very much about my safety!!!!
After I had my third child, I got in the best shape of my life. My core was my main focus and I wanted to be really strong there. After several years of training, I tried one round of Coolsculpting with great results. However, I ultimately wanted a different shape altogether. I carried this cuff of skin with a small amount of fat below it and I found myself always tucking it into clothes. Finally, 7 years after having my third child, I took the plunge and booked a consult at Advanced Cosmetic Surgery with Dr. Felice coming highly recommended due to his "perfectionist" style in the OR (which is what we all want and need!). He was down to earth while being clinically strong in his presentation. He asked what my expectations were. He gave gave me a realistic idea of the harder journey of recovery a tummy tuck involves. By the end of the consult, my little list of questions was answered. I was given a price quote immediately and schedule surgery at the end of the consult. My surgery was 4 weeks later and took around 4 hours. Week One was ROUGH, but not due to pain. Psychologically, I wasn't used to being chair-bound. I produced very little fluid and had my drains out after week one. Week Two was better, as was each successive week that followed. Week Three, the small amount of normal fluid that was around the Surgical site really began to dissipate, and I can really start to see the actual results of my tummy tuck. Simply put, they were amazing. By week Four, I could not believe my new body. That week, I also noticed how good my belly button was looking. I also remember having the thought that I actually felt like my old self again. I am now seven weeks postop, and apart from just a little bit of numbness, I feel back to my old self 100%. My incision is smooth and looks phenomenal. My drain sites are slowly filling in and look less dimpled. At my four week postop, I was cleared to exercise and submerged in water normally. There are a few things that I feel like being consistent with made a dramatic difference. I wear my garment around the clock. The only time it is off is in the shower. While it sometimes gets very annoying, it also provides a lot of comfort, and I like to get back into it as quickly as possible once it's off. I also stayed on my meds like clockwork. I weaned off of all pain meds by the end of the first week. I made sure to use stool softeners and MiraLAX. I'm very rarely regular, but I did not have a bowel movement until day five after my surgery. Because of the MiraLAX and stool softeners, it was very manageable. I made sure to have a powerlifting recliner to sit and sleep in initially, and that was a game changer. They are very affordable on Amazon. I also had a walker that I kept nearby and used a toilet seat lift. I made sure to shower every single day and do the exact protocol the doctor had suggested. Besides the supplements at the doctors office had given me to heal properly and it reduce bruising, I also purchased a lymphatic drainage supplement that I believe worked wonders for my body. I actually still take it now. I'm so thankful that I chose Dr. Felice for this surgery. He crossed every T and dotted every I. His care and clinical expertise was impressive and Impactful! Updated on 10 Aug 2021: 7 weeks today! Updated on 19 Sep 2021: Most days, I can honestly say that I feel 100% back to normal. I have no lingering fatigue, can work out and move totally normal, can roll in and out of bed like nothing happened. My tissues are all truly reattaching and my numbness/stiffness is less than ever. So thankful I took the plunge and did this. Thanks, Dr Felice and Advanced Cosmetic Surgery! Updated on 6 Oct 2021: I opened this email from my doctor and caught my breath. The results are almost unbelievable - could that actually be ME? Updated on 4 Nov 2021: 4 mos PO, totally healed with only the slightest numbness. So thankful for such a great recovery! Updated on 16 Dec 2021: I cannot believe 6 months has already passed since surgery! Lasting effects are mild numbness. So much feeling has come back. While the bikini body is what a lot of people crave after this procedure (and who am I kidding - so do I!), I wanted to be able to wear things with waistband again without having to arrange my “cuff” of skin inside my clothing. I’m over the moon with these results! Thanks, Dr Felice! Updated on 6 Sep 2022: In terms of recovery, it’s now like I never had a tummy tuck. I have a faint but of numbness but nothing to stress over. My scars are all clear now. My goals with my tummy tuck were totally met. I wanted be able to be on the beach with my kids and play without constantly worrying about the skin hanging over my bottoms. So glad I did this!
Dr.Felice is a wonderful surgeon! He gave me life! He listened to my concerns and addressed then. I never thought I would ever feel attractive again. Every day gets better. I’m so happy I did this and that he was my surgeon!!
I can’t say enough about Dr Felice and the staff at Advanced Cosmetic surgery! The minute I walked thru the door everyone was so welcoming and professional, I immediately I felt at ease! Dr Felice did an incredible job on my liposuction and would recommend him to my family and friends!
Excellent at pronouncing Italian words with enthusiasm.... I have had great experiences with Dr. Felice. Not only did he consult and guide me towards the best implants for me- but he is great with Botox. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
I had consultations with several surgeons before going to Dr. Felice and I knew right away that I wanted him to do my labiaplasty. The whole experience, from the initial consultation to surgery and recovery, was great. I opted for local anesthesia and I believe my exact words after surgery were “that was so fun!” Dr. Felice made an otherwise unpleasant experience fun and so comfortable! He’s an extremely talented surgeon and a wonderful person. I would not hesitate to have any procedure done by him.
Absolutely perfect every single step of the way! I’m a 30y/o with 2 kids (7&4) and after nursing them both I lost all volume I had. To begin with I was only a B so there wasn’t anything left after my kids got ahold of them. I’m 5’1 and 130lbs; I told Dr. Felice I didn’t want to look like a cartoon version of myself, I just wanted to look 30. With that said on the day of surgery I gave him all the creative control while I was out. I would trust him with my kids, my mother, or my friends. He he very much geared toward the good of the patient and not money behind it. He has done my Botox and lip filler on several occasions as well. He never tries to push what he can get me to spend; hes 1000% honest! As far as his talent goes- he’s second to none. I have had the best experience being his patient. My BA has healed BEAUTIFULLY and it has just now only been a month. I came out a 32D and they fit my body so well, I’m not distorted and cartoonish. I feel classic! If you choose Dr. Felice you won’t be disappointed. He’s absolutely hilarious and makes everything so enjoyable, I will be back to him for more in the future!!! Updated on 3 Dec 2020: That you so much everyone for all of the questions about my surgery. These are the before and after photos taken by my surgeon. Day of before and 6 months after! If y’all have anymore questions feel free to ask!!
I wasn't going to post on real self but if it weren't for other people sharing their experiences and helping me decide I probably wouldn't have gotten my breasts done! I am young, 22 years old and was thinking about getting a breast augmentation for a long time. I had my surgery this morning and I am IN LOVE! I will keep updating with my progress Updated on 8 Feb 2020: Updated on 8 Feb 2020: They are already positioned really nicely, I got 300cc high profile silicone implants :) Updated on 11 Feb 2020: Today was the most uncomfortable. I need to get used to the heaviness!! Other than that they look amazing and I’m so happy Updated on 27 Jan 2021: I went back in for a consult because my implants did start bottoming out. Not crazy but it’s unavoidable for some people, just depends on your skin and body. So I will be getting GalaFLEX in as well as a larger implant
I had an implant exchange with Dr. Felice, and he completely exceeded my expectations. From the consult to my post operative appointments, he and his staff were professional, caring and thorough. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
I had kybella done! Needless to say, he was Amazing! So very kind and understanding of my needs and wants during the consultation. I highly recommend him :) Results: he warned me that only a few see dramatic results, I saw amazing results after just 2 weeks! Very pleased!
Hello janetzeviera, thank you for your question. EMSculpt will not fix diastasis, unfortunately. I offer patients rectus plication, or sewing the separated rectus muscle back in the midline of the abdomen, as a treatment option for diastasis as part of a full abdominoplasty treatment. Make sure you meet with, and discuss your concerns, with an ABPS-certified plastic surgeon to come up with an operative plan that will be best for you.
Thank you for your questions and photographs. It’s possible that there is a suture underneath your skin and soft tissue, depending on the type of sutures your Plastic Surgeon used during your procedure. As far as keloid scarring, techniques of excision, steroid injection, and radiation therapy are all regimens that have been used in attempts to treat this. I recommend you follow-up with your Plastic Surgeon. He or she will be able to answer your questions and guide you with how best to proceed. I hope this is helpful, best of luck to you. Peter A. Felice, MD
Thank you for sharing your photographs and your question with the panel. I tell patients that it can take several months to see the final shape and size of your breasts and areola after a reduction procedure. I would advise a little bit of patience at this point in time, but also recommend you speak with your Plastic Surgeon about your feelings. He or she will want to know you’re concerned about the result and will be best able to guide you through that recovery and revision process, if necessary. I hope this is helpful, best of luck to you. Peter A. Felice, MD
Thank you for sharing your question. I tell patients that my goal with breast reductions is to provide a safe, aesthetically-pleasing result that keeps blood supply to the breast skin and nipple-areolar complex intact. I don’t guarantee a final cup size. There is a common misconception that all cups are created equal, which they are not. Cup sizes very depending on manufacturers, the brand, and the band size, so don’t use a cup as your final goal. I recommend you meet with more than one Plastic Surgeon and discuss which options and results he or she feels will be best and safest for you. Good luck with your process! Peter A. Felice
Thank you for sharing your photos and your question. It is common to have breakdown at the intersection at the bottom of the vertical incision which may heal with simple dressing changes, or it may require a more in-depth approach. I recommend you meet with your Plastic Surgeon. He or she will be best able to guide you through whatever is necessary to help with the rest of your recovery. Best of luck to you, Peter A. Felice, MD
