Chin implant and neck lipo recovery on vacation?

After a chin augmentation with an implant and liposuction of the neck, you should not be doing any strenuous physical activity for at least a week and maybe longer.  You would also not want to expose the incisions to any sun or water.  The pain after the procedure can normally be controlled with pain medication and it is possible to have some bruising and swelling.  So, if you were going to vacation somewhere without needing to be very physical and without exposing your chin and neck to sun and water, it may be possible to travel for that first week.  I would recommend discussing this with your particular surgeon though, as he or she may feel differently.  

You could certainly have these two procedure done and leave on vacation for a week afterwards....depending upon what you envision that vacation to be. It should be a 'recovery' vacation not one where you would be enjoying the sites that much. There will be swelling which can be socially restrictive.

It is not a good idea to go on vacation immediately after cosmetic surgery. It's very important to follow up with your operative surgeon within the first week to ensure there are no surgical complications.
