Can I have Bellafill soon after having Sculptura?

I have had five vials of sculptura to fill my boney and uneven face. It’s now been two years and I see that my temples need more volume.Although, I plan to have one vial of sculptura in the near future to start my volume resurgence. Then, I read about Bellafill and have scheduled to meet with a plastic surgeon. Although, I have already paid for the vial of sculptura and am stuck with it because of mixing protocol. Is there a contraindication for having Bellafill soon after a vial of sculptura?

I would not see any problem having Bellafill placed into an area previously treated with Sculptra, but I would recommend waiting at least 2 months after the Sculptra before having the Bellafill.  Waiting this time period will allow the results from the Sculptra to be seen before adding another filler.

Yes, you can have Bellafill after Sculptra. Keep in mind, it can take several months for final results with Bellafill. Sculptra is a great product for improving facial volume and collagen building, but for best results, I recommend using it in a combination depending on desired results. I combine Sculptra with other fillers, lasers, toxins and skin care to give immediate results. See an expert. You probably want to wait at least 5-6 weeks after your Sculptra treatment.  Sculptra can take time to build so if you put Bellafill in right away, there's a chance it can be "overfilled"  Take some time, talk to your physician and see what works best for your needs.  All the best.

Thank you for your question and posting your pictures. There is not a problem with using Bellafill following your Sculptra injections. If you are thinking of using both in the temporal hollows, I would begin with the Sculptra and then make a decision in a month or two whether you need the Bellafill. You can switch over to Bellafill at any time but since you have already paid for the Sculptra I would recommend using it first.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
