Hello,Thank you for your question. Without a picture it is difficult to tell you if Sculptra is the best option. Sculptra can enhance different areas of the body but it does require multiple treatments to achieve complete correction, and it will also require maintenance. Please consult with a local physician in person to determine if this is the right course of action for you! Good luck!
Thank you for your question, This is difficult to answer without pictures and needs an in-person evaluation, Yes, Sculptra can be used to improve the shape of the buttocks. Keep in mind, the buttocks need numerous vials of Sculptra over time to build volume, and in some instances the results are subtle and will need to be combined with fat or implants to achieve desired results. I recommend seeing a body shaping expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi JoJo. Fat injections can have some atrophy as the fat cells fail to take and the swelling from surgery fades. Sculptra can help! It causes your body to grow collagen several weeks to months after injected. It’s an off the shelf procedure which leads to a bio stimulation effect causing your body to make collagen - so it a natural process. See an expert to help decide on the number of vials.
Dear jojo232323,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thank you for your question. Sculptra Aesthetic is a biostimulator of collagen that can help to correct volume deficits. When used in the buttocks this is an "off-label" use rather than that intended by FDA approval. Each vial of Sculptra will generate approximately 5 cc (1 teaspoon) of volume. Thus, it may take quite a few vials to achieve full correction. We usually perform this procedure over 2 to 3 sets of injections to achieve the desired effect. I have found Sculptra to be a good selection when trying to augment a focal area such as you describe.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
Your symptoms sound consistent with the normal side effects of Sculptra. However, I suggest you have an in-person check up with your injector.Congratulations and best wishes. Dr. ALDO
Hello Henry.Acne scarring is best treated with multiple modalities like fraxel, chemical peels, and dermal fillers. Sculptra is best suited for other purposes and HA fillers might do a better job for acne scarring. See an expert!
