Sculptra boosts collagen in the deep layers of the skin.. With this addictional collagen, the use of a dermaroller during the 2 years That sculptra lasts will be more effective and gives better results in acne scars than the single treatment (sculptra or dermaroller alone)??? i'd Like to try this approach

Hello Henry.Acne scarring is best treated with multiple modalities like fraxel, chemical peels, and dermal fillers. Sculptra is best suited for other purposes and HA fillers might do a better job for acne scarring. See an expert!

Thank you for your photos. Unlike other injectable fillers, Sculptra is a volumizing filler that causes the body to produce new collagen. This means it takes longer to show results, but also that the results may last longer than other filler. Sculptra might a good option for you but I recommend getting an in-person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist.

You can try this approach, however filler will always flow or generate collagen in the areas of LEAST resistance. Your scars are tethered.
