How does 545cc's look once they have dropped and fluffed? What size in a bra?

The cup size in a bra is dependent on how tight you wear the bra and where you shop. It's more of a cup size "look". Ccs can give a different cup size look on different body frames. A plastic surgeon, after evaluating you and pictures of women similar to you with the size implant you choose, could give a pretty good estimate of the bra that you will fit in. 500-550cc implants will be fairly large, even one someone with your height. Unless your base width is very wide, these will likely be full or extra full profile implants. There is no direct correlation between implant volume and cup size, but implants of this size will typically put most people into the DD-DDD range. Hope this helps!

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  In order to determine if 545cc would be a good choice for you, it would be helpful to also know your individual breast measurements.   The size, profile, and shape of
the implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall
measurements, and soft tissue quality.  This decision should
be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you
and your surgeon.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Every frame is different, so 500cc on one frame will look completely different on another.  That is why it is hard to say what the exact appearance will be when everything has relaxed and settled.  Don't go by cup size since the implants do not correspond to a cup size at all.  It really depends on your breast width, chest, and frame.  I would discuss this with your surgeon or go for a few more consultations to see what will work best for you.  I hope this helps.

Breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. 



When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.



Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.



Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.



You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

Thank you for your question.  The same size implant will have very different results in different women.  The final result may be affected by the width of the chest, the fullness of the breast before surgery and the laxity of the skin.  However, most women who have an implant of 500cc or larger placed will most likely be a full D cup or even larger.  Make sure the surgeon is using the right dimensions for your breast, such as a moderate or high profile implant.  Too wide of an implant will give you a abnormal "side boob", while too narrow of an implant will look like a ball.  The base diameter of the implant should closely match your breast dimensions.  Good luck with your procedure.

Since implants do not always match up with cup size, you ar probably best to get the bra you want to fill and try it on with baggies filled to the desired volume. This will give a rough idea.

Thank you for your question.  The 545 cc breast implants are quite large.  The average size in my practice in New England is 350 cc.  A breast implant which has a diameter that is equal to or less than the base width of your breast should be chosen.  To learn more please read below:
