I was wondering if my breast will ever look big and beautiful. I was a 32b and now it seems like im.still a 32b im.so.small and depress. After a few MO the will it increasem. Check the pictures, would someone helps me?
Answer: Drop and Fluff Hello, I know it seems like nothing happened. However, as time goes on your breasts will take shape as your soft tissue envelope expands and allows for implant projection and fullness in the lower pole. It is likely your surgeon was respecting your anatomic capacity limit, something that is done in your best interest. The vast majority of complications of breast augmentation are avoidable and caused by inappropriately large implants. Be patient. Best of luck!

Answer: Breast augmentation Thanks for your question and pictures. The 325cc should increase you about 1.25-1.5 cup sizes. That would make you a full B or small C. Obviously, this varies between bra companies. Looking at your wish pic, you may need slightly more implant size. That being said, you really, really need to wait 3 months to make any decisions. There are many changes that will occur in the next couple of months. Interestingly, I noticed your wish pick has a complication. The implant on the right side of the picture has "bottomed out". This makes the nipple point upward instead of straight forward and the upper breast lacks volume. These types of implant placement problems are common. This is the main reason you would want to wait before increasing size. Let the implants settle and be sure they are symmetric before going through another surgery. Best of luck!BH

Answer: My breast look very small and out of shape after breast augmentation. I am sorry to hear about your concerns after breast augmentation surgery. Your plastic surgeon will always be your best resource when it comes to accurate assessment and/or advice. Having said that, it may help you to know that a significant percentage of patients at your early stage of recovery will feel that they are too big or (more commonly) too small. Generally speaking, breast implants will "drop" into the pocket that was created during surgery. The rate of breast implant "settling" may depend on factors such as size of breast implant pocket dissected, tightness of the overlying skin/muscle layers, and size of breast implant utilized. Normally, it takes about 3-6 months (for some patients longer) to see the final result. It is very common for one side to settle faster than the other. I routinely ask my patients to wait at least 3-6 months before evaluating the end results of the breast augmentation surgery. This waiting time allows patients to (usually) physically and psychologically adapt to the new body image. In other words, it is much too early to evaluate the outcome of the procedure performed; your breasts will undoubtedly change over the course of the next several weeks/months. The vast majority of patients with your concerns at your stage in the recovery process, turn out to be much happier two to three months after the procedure was performed. Understandably, patients often experience significant emotional "ups and downs" around the time of surgery. For example, many of my patients report that as the swelling around the breast implants (for example, in the sternal area) decreases, they feel that their breasts appear more projecting. Also, in my opinion, the "drop and fluff” phenomenon does hold some validity; as breast implants “settle”, many patients feel that their breasts actually look larger. My best advice: rest, recover, and exercise patience. Keep in mind, that a significant percentage of patients at your stage in the recovery process feel that they are "too big" or "too small". In the long run, once patients have adjusted physically and psychologically to their new body image, the vast majority of patients are very pleased. If in the longer term you remain displeased with your breast size, re augmentation with larger breast implants may be an option. If this does become the case, make sure that you communicate your goals clearly; the use of goal photographs and computer imaging may be very helpful in the communication process.Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.

Answer: Post Op Concerns - Desired Outcome Hi nathyribeiro2, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 4 days post op. Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery. Dropping of implants is part of the healing process and this occurs after the tissues surrounding the implants slowly relax, allowing the implants to settle into their final position. It can take about four to six months for the implant to drop down to their final position. But if you are still concerned, you can always visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. This way, you will be reassured. Also, if after six months, you are not satisfied with the appearance of your breast, you can visit your plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns. Lastly, follow your plastic surgeons post-operative instructions and advice for faster healing and recovery. Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Answer: Too soon You may need to go up in size, and you should also look into different types of implants and how cohesive they are... but 4 days is wayyy too early. Give it some time and let things heal. If you still want to go bigger in a few months then you can consider it.
