Far more important than the technique is the skill and experience of your plastic surgeon. Choose your surgeon rather than the technique and let them explain why one technique may be better than another. See the below link on some suggestions on finding the most qualified Plastic Surgeon for a Breast Revision. Always insist on a board certified plastic surgeon.
Thank you for you question and photos, The Bellesoma Method is a current technique to lift and/or reduce breasts without using implants or the ugly vertical scars. The incisions are hidden around the areola and in the inframammary crease. The vertical incision has been completely eliminated. The areola incision heals almost invisibly due to the fact that there is hardly any tension on the closure. With this particular technique, ducts are preserved along with nerve supply maintaining nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. Because the breast is reshaped internally and is secured to your chest muscles, upper pole fullness is possible without an implant. Attached is a patient who underwent The Bellesoma Method. Please note that her tissue was used to create upper pole fullness and cleavage without any foreign materials (mesh, implants, etc). It is a proprietary technique that only surgeons that have been trained by me can perform. I hope this helps. Best wishes and kind regards, Dr. Gary Horndeski
Thanks for your question and photos. To be able to properly assess your needs and discuss the results you’ve envisioned, I would recommend that you seek out an in-person consultation from a certified plastic surgeon. You should discuss all of your goals with them to determine whether a breast lift might be right for you.
Thank you for the question and corresponding photos. A breast lift will help you achieve that perky, fuller look you desire. Your areolas (nipples) are pointing downward and a breast lift will project them higher up, and added fullness will allow your breasts to have a more rounder aesthetic appearance. The goal is to lift your breasts without reducing your breast tissue/size one bit. Please consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in-person to go over your aesthetic goals and concerns. For more information on mastopexy (breast lift) please visit our webpage.
The breasts could be made more perky with a lift or reduction, depending on your goals for final cup size and your symptoms. Back, neck and shoulder pain are all made better with reduction. See your PS for evaluation of your goals and recommendations.
Thank you for your question and photographs. Should you desire a perkier, rounder shape to your breasts you may consider a breast lift or mastopexy. My advice is to seek an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.
This is a great question. It looks like you would be a good candidate for a breast lift as it sounds like aesthetically your goal is to lift your breasts without reducing the size. However, if you also want to reduce pain from large breasts, a breast reduction is what will help achieve that concern. To give you the best advice possible, I would need to examine you in person. At this point I think the best thing you could do is consult in person with a board certified plastic surgeon who can explain all of your options to you. That way you know what is realistic, and from their you can make the best decision for you.
Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. With thatbeing said, based on your photographs, the best shape and contour could beachieved with an implant and a breast lift. Your nipple sits below theinframammary fold and without a lift in addition to the implant, this will nothave a natural shape. A breast lift with an implant can result in a verynice shape if good technique is used. The size, profile, and shape ofthe implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wallmeasurements, and soft tissue quality. This decision shouldbe based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both youand your surgeon. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The mostimportant aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommendthat you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon whocan evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Hi and thank you for your question and pictures. The short answer is yes, your shape and contour of your breasts can be improved with a breast lift. You appear to have overall good skin quality and breast volume. A vertical or "lollipop" breast lift will improve your shape, lift the areolas, and give you a perkier more uplifted breast. If you are happy with your breast size, no implant is needed. Depending on your size wishes for final result an implant can be added to the lift if you so choose. Best to meet with a plastic surgeon who can examine you in person and discuss further. Best of luck!
From the photos, it looks as if you will need both an augmentation as well as a lift. Given your desire for increased perkiness, I would recommend a conservatively-sized implant in addition to a formal breast lift. Both of these procedures combined should help replace lost volume, increase upper pole fullness, and help create a more optimal and more perky shape to your breasts!I hope that helps and wish you the very best!-Gregory A Buford MD FACSBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author
Hi, It looks like the left implant is sitting higher. This is probably due to the fact that with a sub muscular augment the implants always tend to sit a bit higher. I usually tend to tell patients to wait 4 - 6 months for a final result. I would suggest starting exercises to displace the...
Dear greatskin9,you can combine Celebrex and Percocet. But every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic S...
