2 days after Venus Viva - is it normal? (Photo)

Been about 2 days after venus viva and my face still red and black needle size spots all over. Itchy and dry. Is this normal? This is the first time I have laser. I'm very scared.

Swelling after intense ablative RF is not uncommon. I recommend that patients use Elevase Moisture Booster to help soothe the skin; followed by SwellX to help with swelling if needed. Best Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon

Dear patient, swelling and edema is common after venus viva treatments in the facial area. I suggest that you call your dermatologist and ask about taking an oral anti-inflammatory such as Advil. Oral Arnica and cool compresses also help. Please make sure that you sleep with a couple of pillows...

Our office specializes in Venus Viva, employing the ablative Nanofractional RF for skin resurfacing. At this setting, it is unlikely that the Viva would cause deeper soft tissue volume loss.Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
