Venus Viva has 2 handpieces: one is the non ablative Radiofrequncy device with no downtime. It tightens the skin but doesn't do anything for fine lines or irregular texture of the skin. The second hand piece is nano fractional ablative Radiofrequency (this is the new FDA approval)This hand piece can help significantly with fine lines, redness and tightening, There is 2-3 days of swelling and peeling. I receommnd the blative / aggressive nanao fractional laser for you. I think you would see better reults with that. 1-2 sessions over 2 moths are needed.
There are different settings for Venus Viva. I would suggest an ablative setting to stimulate collagen and reduce wrinkling in the skin. Venus Viva continues to be an effective treatment for the décolleté. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
Venus Viva is a great option to treat skin damaged by chronicand long-term sun exposure! In a series of treatments, it works particularlywell to improve skin quality and texture, of the face, neck and chest, such asin your case. It can be performed as a stand-alone procedure, or in combinationwith PRP (platelet rich plasma) or even some minimal laser treatments. There isa about 2-4 days of downtime depending on the area of the body treated, andmakeup can be used 2 days after treatment.
Hello,Thanks for your question.Venus Viva is a dual-mode non-invasive technology to tighten and improve skin.It uses RF energy along with a microneedling treatment head to create nano-fractional injury to the skin to a tuneable depth in the skin. It also has a 2nd Multipolar RF head for deep tissue heating in bulk to thicken the skin and increase collagen production, which can result in a lifting type effect.Because the injury size is small, recovery tends to be quick.Because the energy is not light based, there is less risk of complications in darker skin types and less chance of pigmentation abnormalities after treatment.Wrinkling and sun damage on the decollete is a great treatment indication for Venus Viva. While improvement can be seen with one treatment, multiple treatments are needed for the best outcomes.I hope this was helpful.Dr. Shah
I do a combination of treatments for the chest and love venus viva in this area. but often I do it in combination with microneedling and/or IPL and PRP. this gives amazing rejuvenation to the chest. long term legacy or thermage work to enhance the results. I suggest a formal consultiation with an expert, I read the clinical trials for the device. Best, Dr. Emer.
Venus Viva was designed to enhance skin smoothness, texture, and quality, and is an excellent procedure for treating wrinkled skin damaged by sun exposure. As a minimally invasive FDA cleared resurfacing device, the Venus Viva uses NanoFractional Radio Frequency technology to target areas of the chest, neck, and face for more naturally healthy looking skin. There are some other options available for treating the condition you describe, although I have found that the Venus Viva is more comfortable than laser or chemical peels. While it does appear that the Venus Viva could help with the discoloration and wrinkles on your chest, it is absolutely crucial that you meet with your cosmetic physician for an in-person evaluation, as this is the best way to develop a personalized treatment plan and determine the most effective option for achieving your desired results.
Hi and thank you for your question! We are very excited about our Venus Viva and the results it can offer with less downtime. I do think it would be beneficial on your chest area because it would help with the redness, discoloration and wrinkles. We recommend most patients do a package of three treatments for best result. There are other options that can target these issues, but most would involve 2 separate treatments, such as an IPL and laser combination. Best, Dr. Grant Stevens
Venus Viva would help but a combo of this and IPL would be much better for you. Venus Viva doesn't have any light, laser, or color to it so while it can work to change texture, the IPL is much better for discoloration and sun damage like you have. For optimal results, most patients need 6–8 treatments. Usually, treatments happen four weeks apart. You can personalize your treatment plan to meet your needs and goals.
During the procedure, you can feel a warm, prickling feeling, but it's normally not uncomfortable. To guarantee optimal comfort, some patients choose to apply a topical numbing cream prior to the treatment. Before the procedure, talk to your provider about your pain management options if you're...
As with a mild sunburn, you should anticipate some redness and slight swelling in the treated area, which normally goes away in 24 to 48 hours. Most patients are able to resume their regular activities the next day, but in order to give the skin enough time to heal, it is advised to refrain from...
