Who is a candidate for Venus Viva (photo)?

Venus Viva has 2 handpieces: one is the non ablative Radiofrequncy device with no downtime.It tightens the skin but doesn't do anything for fine lines or irregular texture of the skin. The second hand piece is nano fractional ablative Radiofrequency (this is the new FDA approval)This hand piece can help significantly with fine lines, redness and tightening, There is 2-3 days of swelling and peeling. I receommnd the blative / aggressive nanao fractional laser for you. I think you would see better reults with that. 1-2 sessions over 2 moths are needed.

and long-term sun exposure! In a series of treatments, it works particularly
well to improve skin quality and texture, of the face, neck and chest, such as
in your case. It can be performed as a stand-alone procedure, or in combination
with PRP (platelet rich plasma) or even some minimal laser treatments. There is
a about 2-4 days of downtime depending on the area of the body treated, and
makeup can be used 2 days after treatment.

Hello,Thanks for your question.Venus Viva is a dual-mode non-invasive technology to tighten and improve skin.It uses RF energy along with a microneedling treatment head to create nano-fractional injury to the skin to a tuneable depth in the skin.  It also has a 2nd Multipolar RF head for deep tissue heating in bulk to thicken the skin and increase collagen production, which can result in a lifting type effect.Because the injury size is small, recovery tends to be quick.Because the energy is not light based, there is less risk of complications in darker skin types and less chance of pigmentation abnormalities after treatment.Wrinkling and sun damage on the decollete is a great treatment indication for Venus Viva.While improvement can be seen with one treatment, multiple treatments are needed for the best outcomes.I hope this was helpful.Dr. Shah

I do a combination of treatments for the chest and love venus viva in this area.  but often I do it in combination with microneedling and/or IPL and PRP.  this gives amazing rejuvenation to the chest.  long term legacy or thermage work to enhance the results.  I suggest a formal consultiation with an expert, I read the clinical trials for the device.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I do think it would be beneficial on your chest area because it would help with the redness, discoloration and wrinkles. We recommend most patients do a package of three treatments for best result. Venus Viva would help but a combo of this and IPL would be much better for you. Venus Viva doesn't have any light, laser, or color to it so while it can work to change texture, the IPL is much better for discoloration and sun damage like you have. "This
