It's difficult you said without knowing the history and examination what is the pigmentation. In case, it is melasma, it should respond. However if it is a birth mark like Nevis, there is no role of melacare. So please consult a dermatologist before you do any self treatment.

of course hydroquinone on prescription can be bought upto 12 %. Infact brand MD products in USA have this percentage. However dont blindly  believe that higher the strength, it will erase the melasma faster.

hey. It looks normal to me and infact good results. I am not sure from where the fact arises that viva redness and scabbing disappear in few hours. The post effects are proportional to the parameters used and in your case it looks fine. Give it a few days. Use sunscreen and makeup. It will be fine.Since it is your first treatment you are worried.

Hey am sorry for what happened with you. Though venus viva is a treatment of minimum downtime but depending on the parameters and skin sensitivity, I have occasionally seen downtime last upto 5-6 days as well.. So it was a close call if you had your flight the next day. Use some antibiotic mild steroid combination anti inflammatory oint with arnica cream. also orally take an antiallergic tab. Also apply primer and use camouflage makeup cover.
