I’m a 21 year old female, i weigh 124 pounds and i’m 5’7 and i have had banana rolls under my butt for a long time, i tried weight loss to the point where i was underweight about a year ago just to see if the rolls would go away but they didnt. I’ve researched alot about them and i’ve read alot of different things some say you cant get rid of them some say you cant so i’d like an opinion on my specific case. What would help me get rid or atleast shrink them?

Answer: What can help get rid of banana rolls? Hello and thank you for posting your photo as well. Interesting question. In other cases, with bigger rolls, careful lipo might make them smaller. But lipo in this area can lead to sagging of the butt. I really cannot think of any surgical procedure that can get rid of your banana rolls. They are so small that Liposuction is not worth the risk of a saggy butt. You could try working out if you like… Best of luck, Dr. Miguel Mota Dr. Miguel Mota

Answer: Banana rolls Dear Considerate564410, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
