53 years of age is not a contra-indication for surgery. Your BMI of 24.4 is normal and you would definitely benefit from a tummy tuck. If you are not planning future pregnancies, you may want to use mesh to reinforce the fascia. You may need liposuction on the sides or flanks or it can be done without.
