Thank you for your question and congratulations on your recent surgery. Typically I recommend my patients to wait 4-6 weeks after surgery before starting any elective vitamins, medications etc. I would recommend you speak with your surgeon and follow their protocol in regards to restarting your medication. Best of luck to you.
Thank you for sharing your question and congratulations on your tummy tuck procedure. I would discuss any chance in your medications with your surgeon ton ensure your safety but because your incisions are not yet fully healed I would recommend waiting at least another 2 weeks prior to resuming your weight loss medication. Hope this helps.
This question is best answered by your surgeon. She/He is most familiar with the details of your surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery. Typically at this time it is safe to resume your pre operative medications, but it is always best to first consult with your surgeon.
Your best resource of information would be your surgeon as he/she knows your condition best. Each surgeon has his/her own post operative protocols.
Thank you for the question and congratulations on your recent procedure. Phentermine 3-4 weeks after a tummy tuck should be fine. Would ask your plastic surgeon to be certain. But, I would have no problems with one of my patients resuming Phentermine after a month of recovery.

I would wait until six weeks. I would also touch base with whoever prescribed it for further medical advice. You’re still very much in the early healing phase and stimulant based weight loss is not optimal for your nutritional needs at this time.
Thank you for your question and photos. I believe it is best to be within 10 - 15 pounds of your ideal body weight prior to surgery for optimal results. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in body contouring for an in-person examination. Ask to see a lot of ...
Gaining a few pounds after a TT will not have a significant impact. Liposuction removes some cells so there are fewer fat cells in the abdominal area. The fat will not move, but weight gains will distribute differently. Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Dear jenn1204,it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. If you are considering a scar revision surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, ...
Thank you for your question. A bad belly button scar can certainly make an abdominoplasty look "surgical". I prefer an inverted "V" to create a superior hooding and hide the scar inside the BB. In surgery, often things are done because "that's the way we always done it". Most surgeons do not...
Dear sarahjim99,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after thorough examination you can get proper recommendations ...
