You can keep your large size with a lift including a small reduction to make them perkier. This would likely be a small amount for reshaping only and not to make them much smaller. An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to discuss your options and expectations.
Thank you for your question.Yes, you can undergo a breast lift without removing much tissue, however, the lift is not likely to last very long as the weight of your breasts will re-stretch your skin. It would be more advantageous for you to undergo a small reduction to improve outcome and longevity. Please visit my gallery to see the range of reductions I perform using The Bellesoma Method where a vertical incision is not necessary. I have attached a short video of a patient who underwent this procedure. Please note that implants or fat transfers were not used to achieve upper pole fullness. It is also important to know that The Bellesoma Method uses an internal suspension system created out of your own tissues to prolong longevity of results. The chest muscles play an important role in maintaining long term results without interfering with muscle function. So, unlike the vertical scar techniques, TBM does not rely solely on the skin envelope to provide support. I hope this helps.Best wishes and kind regards,
It is possible to get a breast lift without having a reduction in size, as only a tiny bit of tissue is removed. However, because of their perkier shape, you may find that your breasts fit into your bras differently. Some patients find that they need to wear a different cup size as a result.
I appreciate your question. I perform a liposuction breast lift that removes tissue from the areas you don't want such as near the armpit and the lower portion hanging near your stomach. Once I use this to shape the breast I then remove the skin to tighten the breast and create a better shape with nice cleavage. Since I perform this less invasively the recovery time is faster and drains are not necessary. The size would depend on the proportion with your body versus going for a cup size. It works very well if there are asymmetries. I can also use the removed fat as a natural breast augmentation by grafting the fat back into the breast to create more projection or into the top to create more cleavage. This procedure can also be combined with an implant if needed or wanted. It should not affect nipple sensation, mammograms, cancer risk or breast-feeding. If you gain or lose weight, the transferred fat can do the same. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. A breast lift can be performed without a reduction in patients who like the volume. A vertical breast lift with fat transfer for upper pole fullness may produce the result you are seeking.Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Hello and thank you for your question. Thebest advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. With thatbeing said, based on your photograph, you are a candidate for a breast reduction/lift. In order to have a successful breast lift, I would recommend a small reduction at the same time as the lift. Make sure you specifically lookat before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgeryperformed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The mostimportant aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommendthat you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon whocan evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
I am going to be blunt and honest. With breasts of your size, you're going to pay a severe penalty for stretching of the overlying skin and breast tissue. The time will come sooner or later but it will come. Once this happens, the damage will be permanent and cumulative over time. I would highly recommend that you reduce your breast size to something more proportionate with your trunk size. A breast lift will only delay the inevitable. A breast reduction incorporates a breast lift as well. All breasts will eventually fall. It's just a matter of rate of fall. I would encourage you to slow the rate as much as possible by reducing your breast size. I wish you the best.
Hi, thanks for sharing your concern and photos with us!Looking at your photos I might say that you´ll be a great candidate to get a breast lift without implants because you have enough tissue to reshape and lift it. Before all this, of course, you need to get a complete medical evaluation and laboratory exams to check everything is fine. Also please try to find a board certified plastic surgeon, remember that your safety, always, is going to be first. Have a great day! Dr. JPG
Hello dear, Thanks for your question and provided information as well. I recommend you to get a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to help you to achieve improved results, I would recommend you only the breast lift because you like the volume of your actual size, it seems that you have more breast tissue than excess skin.Good Luck.-
It looks like you could benefit from a reduction which will also lift your breasts and tighten the skin envelope.
I appreciate your question. I would recommend that you discuss this question with your surgeon as every surgeon has their own respective post op protocol for his/her patients. Your surgeon is your best resource as he/she is most familiar with your medical history and how you are healing at ...
Can easily be done if your can let the surgeon know where your knot is located at... and you should have your surgeon do it for nearly nothing if you are truly botched. All surgeon's are reachable and if they ignore your calls and you are still a patient of his/hers, there is an obligation to ...
Great question. With poor skin quality and loss of elasticity, there is more of an indication to desire and have a breast lift. Unfortunately, this also means that the breast lift procedure result may not necessarily be as optimal or last as long as a patient with better skin quality...
