I have a lower abdominal seroma following a tummy tuck, full muscle repair, and lipo of the flanks. My drains were removed properly...after both dropped below 20cc a day. A couple of days later I got a seroma, it was drained and well over 20cc was removed. If has returned and two attempts later nothing has been able to be removed. Can this ruin my results? Can it become infected? Is there anything I can do other then spanks+compression garments?

Answer: Small seromas will probably resolve spontaneously after abdominoplasty.
I measure my patients for surgical pot-op garments. This is included as part of the surgery as I believe that a garment that fits well is important.
Yes, it is possible to have a tummy tuck with an existing colostomy as long as your underlying health is good (sounds like it is, congratulations). The type of tummy tuck and results will vary and this should be discussed in depth with your plastic surgeon. There is a higher level of difficultly...
If your breasts are swelling, you may be about to have your period - with swelling in the abdomen pressing against the muscle repair. You should let your surgeon know about this. S/he may check you to be sure all is well.
