I went to a surgeon about my eyes. He said we can also do a mini lift .He pulls up my cheek, you will look 10 years younger. I do not like how my face is starting to sag, however most the women are older. I put a deposit. That same day a women showed me horrifying lipo job from him. I'm afraid he only wanted my $. Reviews of him some good, some very bad.How do I know if I have enough skin and it will not make me deformed, like wind blown. Is it to soon at my age & face type for a mini lift? Help
Answer: What is a mini-facelift and when should you get one? Obviously, the question of "what" is easy, the questions of "why" and "when" are more difficult. Basically, as we age a number of things happen to our faces. One of them is that the tissue under the skin begins to drop with gravity. This gives you the typical jowl look. Later, your skin starts to loosen and you get the jowling along with the loose skin. During this, you can also get some extra neck skin that starts to loosen. Everyone is different. Everyone has different times when these start to occur. Now, what about the facelift. 1) A "mini" facelifts main goal is to make a small incision and pull up on some of the jowling. That is it. Other non-surgical options to this include radiofrequency skin tightening, fillers and botox. 2) Standard Facelift - The purpose of this is to pull the jowls, get rid of some extra skin and typically treat the neck and jaw line. There are many other small additions to a facelift as well and I wont get into that. I typically advise young people to try non-surgical solutions first as the risk is lower. SKin tightening, Fillers and botox can all work wonders. I've included a link to some options for aging and loose skin. James P. Answer: Non-Surgical Face Lift / Skin Resurfacing with Renuvion/J-Plasma -- add Lasers, Microneedling/PRP, Ultherapy, FaceTite In our practice, we perform a non-surgical face lift / skin resurfacing treatment using Renuvion Helium Plasma Radiofrequency. To get the most improvement with skin tightening, we combine Renuvion (formerly J-Plasma) with lasers (Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, CO2), microneedling/PRP, Ultherapy and InMode FaceTite. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Ulthera vs. mini lift At 43, you are on the younger scale of patients needing a facelift. An ulthera treatment would be ideal to tighten the neckline and jawline in men and women. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian

Answer: Mini lift A mini lift is a limited facelift intended for women with very early signs of aging where the benefit of the procedure outweighs the drawbacks like a scar. This is a personal decision mostly. Evaluate your surgeon's pre and post photos and reviews to ensure you are choosing the right surgeon for you.
