I had a BBL.4 weeks ago. They took fat from my lower back and love handles. Swelling in those areas has gone down. However, swelling in my legs and feet has not. Is it normal to have so much swelling in an area that was not treated? The swelling increases throughout the day and can get painful from the tightness.
Answer: BBL RECOVERY Lower extremity swelling can happen and may be prolonged due to different factors. Check with your doctor first. Things to consider: Make sure your garment isn’t too tight around your thighs. Elevate your legs and feet on pillows when resting, wear compression stockings over your feel, ankles, and calves; avoid prolonged periods of standing, consider Lasix to help mobilize excess edema.

Answer: Swelling in legs and feet 4 weeks after BBL. Is this normal? Thanks for your question. There is a process of swelling and bruising that peaks at 3 days after surgery and then undergoes the first stage of major resolution in the first 2 weeks after surgery. The lateer phase of healing takes place over the 2-3 months after surgery where everything really settles and softens. It is after this time that we are getting close to the final result, though this varies patient to patient.

Answer: Swelling in legs and feet 4 weeks after BBL. Is this normal? (photos) Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation is normal. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)

Answer: Leg swelling after BBL Good Morning, Many surgeries can cause lower extremity swelling. Post surgical swelling can still be around after your type of surgery. Not uncommon. It does appear symmetric as well. Therefore I would suggest to elevate the legs at the end of the day when they are most sore and swollen. Cool compresses and compression stockings can also help. Minimize excess salt intake and make sure you continue to move about and ass some light stretching and exercise to get back into a healthy rhythm. If the problem worsens, speak to your physician so it can be evaluated further. Best Wishes.

Answer: Swelling in feet after liposuction what you describe is not a typical it. Some people are more prone to swelling than others. If you have any propensity for swelling normally then the previous liposuction it can aggravate this. Leg elevations are the only really effective means. A proper leg elevation that means your foot is above your heart. Compression stockings to me also help. Expect this to slowly improve over the next few months. A low sodium diet may help as well.
