Great question! The incisions used during a BBL are very tiny, a few millimeters, and should not ruin your tattoo.Best of luck and hope this information helps!- Dr. Roger Tsai @DrRogerTsaiBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon
Thank you for your question. The answer is no, the BBL incisions are too tiny, what I recommend you is seek a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
hello thank you for your question and provided information as well.. based in your question your tattoo so tiny , so you butt its not gonna ruin with bbl.
Thank you for your pictures and questions. It is unlikely that they will cut through the tattoo for a BBL procedure but you can discuss this with your plastic surgeon. Make sure he or she is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and works in a reputable facility. Best of luck!Dallas R. Thank you for your question and photo. The placement of incisions is surgeon dependent. I believe in "stealth" incisions, placed at the top of the buttock crack and in the buttock folds. No other incisions are utilized or reveal that you even had surgery. Your tattoo would not be ruined, but it will expand with fat grafting. Good luck.
The scars are small, but some surgeons will make many more incisions and in less discrete locations. Depending upon how much fat is transferred to the buttocks, the tattoo size may be altered.Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
Dear aya1993,BBL surgery should have no major effect on your tattoo. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Hi, no not at all.25 year experienceInternational Member of the American Society of Plastic SurgeonsMember of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Thanks for writing,The incisions for liposuction and fat grafting are very small and if well hidden you should not have a problem. If a lot of fat is grafted your tattoo might get stretched and change a bit. Discuss all of this with your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.Good luckStephen M.
