I'm considering either Ultherapy or Exilis for skin tightening around the face and neck. Which one has the better results and what is the difference between the two?

Answer: Ultherapy seems hard to beat If you are looking for non- surgical options, Ultherapy seems to be the Gold Standard. Our patients are very satisfied. And it requires only one treatment.

Answer: Exilis and Ultherapy Thanks for your question. Ultherapy is fractionated ultrasound and works to tighten the skin of the face and neck in one treatment. It can take upwards of three months to see the full effect in some, but most patients are extremely happy with the end result of this treatment. There is some pain, at times, with this but most can tolerate it with the protocols that are being used today. Exilis uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to tighten the skin of the face and neck. Most can expect to have 4-6 treatments over a 4-6 month period of time to get the optimum results. There can be some discomfort, but again, this is tolerable in most. There are other RF devices that are being used in this area with great success – these include the Venus Legacy, the EndyMed 3Deep, the Alma Accent, and the Ellman Pelleve. Have a consultation with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon and learn the treatment options and what will work best for you
