9 weeks post-op Cellfina on buttocks and thighs, have lumps near the puncture sites that are still sore. Is this normal?

I am about 9 weeks post op from a Cellfina treatment on my buttocks and thighs. While the large dimples I had have improved, I have multiple new hard and soft lumps in new areas near the puncture sites on my thighs and butt. These areas still feel sore so my hope is that they’re still healing. Is this normal? When can I expect this to resolve?

Thank you for your questions.  Congratulations on the improvement of the dimples.  The lumpiness and soreness near the access sites will gradually improve.  I'm a little surprised they are still lumpy and sore at 9 weeks but they will gradually improve, likely over the next several weeks.  Gently massaging the area will speed up the resolution of the soreness and lumpiness.

This is normal and typically resolves with massage.  Some patients do well with warm compresses in the area as well.  I am happy to hear that you are already seeing good results overall!
