SInce there are no fixed and uniform standards for cup size, any answers you get should be suspect!I have numerous patients who have in their bra drawer cups of 3 different sized that all fit.I prefer having patients try on implants to using a cup size as a goal. My idea of a full C may have little relationship to the patient's idea. Without a photo and breast measurements, I am more hesitant to predict an implant size. Many surgeons suggest that you get a cup size increase for every 100-250 cc of implant volume. You get the variance! A C cup on a 32 band is smaller than a C on a 34, and so forth. For a 36 band, 200 cc per cup might be a reasonable guideline. For a 32 it would take less. Best to discuss in person at a consultation with a plastic surgeon. Thanks for ;your question.
It is very hard to guarantee final bra size based on implant because bra manufacturers have different fits depending on their brand. The cup estimate most plastic surgeons refer to is about 200 cc.At the end of the day the most important thing is to have a full consultation and exam with a board certified plastic surgeon. The selection of the implant should be based on a comprehensive plan that takes your tissues into consideration. This will allow for selection of an appropriate implant.Best of luck to you
First and most importantly you need to seek out a board certified plastic surgeon for consultation. In my office I utilize VECTRA 3D imaging which is helpful in determining your desired look... VECTRA lets me place your imagine into a 3D image and the place any available implants onto your body. Also during consult you will have the ability to place implants into a bra to help determine final size and look... Some guidance will be given based on your chest/breast dimensions as well. The implant choice should "fit" your body... Bets of luck to you!
It would be so convenient if you could select an implant based on cup size. But unfortunately it isn't so simple. A bra cup is not a fixed size - it changes with your specific shape and bra band size. I think the easiest way to figure out the size it to use one of the sizing systems. I happen to use Mentor's system but there are others. It is very simple. You select the bra that you would like to use and then place the different sizers between you and the bra cup. When you get a good fill of the bra cup and you are happy with the look, that is the size you need. Then you plastic surgeon will use your natural breast size and the volume of implant you select to pick the appropriate profile. Best of luck to you.
Thank you for the question. There is no accurate correlation between size of breast implant and cup size achieved.Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you're looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "full C cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. The use of computer imaging technology may also be very helpful during this communication process.3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery.I hope this (and the attached link) help.
The answer varies from patient to patient. Your best bet is to visit you your plastic surgeon and size. Your starting size, your base width and your frame all factor into implant size choice.
implant sizing depends upon patient dimensions and frame, laxity of skin envelope (or lack thereof) and patient desires. the same implant can look very different in two different patients. it is as much art as science. a detailed exam/consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who does lots of these is a good start.
Generally speaking about 200 cc of breast implant will increase the breast one cup size. However it is very important that you have an in person consultation and examination by an excellent board certified plastic surgeon. The surgeon will measure your breast and chest and also use a breast implant sizing system. During the breast implant sizing system evaluation implants will be placed into your sports bra and you will be able to see how the shape and size of each various implant looks on your body.High profile breast implants are typically use for patients with very narrow chests and small frame. However moderate profile plus breast implants will give you more cleavage and more fullness on the side of your breasts.
A good rule of thumb in deciding implant size is that 200-225 cc. Is a cup size. Other factors of course are your height, weight and body type. Measurements of the base width of your breast and chest circumferenceare also crucial. Obviously similar implant sizes will create different cup size depending on your body type .Your choice of a high profile sounds appropriate considering your small frame and desire to be full. An excellent pre surgery technique is to do external sizing and /or 3 D analysis. Your PS should offer this to you .hope this helps.
As with all things new and different - there is a learning curve to their use. They may very well produce superior results in some people, but I generally don't recommend the "new and improved" products. Wait till they've been around in general use for at least 5 years.A lot of the...
At size 34 D each 100 cc’s of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. Increasing your implants by an additional 400 cc’s will take you up to a H. It is highly probably that these implants will be too large for your body, your skin will progressively stretch, thin and your breasts will dro...
You will be much bigger than normal. The exact bra size does not exist - as bra sizes vary by manufacturer. Be sure these implants will fit your chest and that you want to be this big.If in doubt, try on sizers again and have your surgeon re-measure your chest width. Best wishes.
