Bellafill would be a good option. It is FDA approved for 5 years. This area is off label and you'll want to go to an experienced injector. I would highly recommend using the microcannular technique to avoid any risk of intraarterial injection which can happen in this area.
Fillers, fat, and botox can help this area. Please seek an expert as this area has blood vessles that need to be protected during injection to not cause any injury. Best, Dr. Emer.
I would recommend using Botox first for the furrow between your eyes. This will help to relax the muscle causing the furrow. You could try Botox alone first and see how much improvement you get. If there is still a furrow after the Botox, then a filler could be used for further improvement. There are a variety of fillers, including Bellafill, that could be used. The cost will vary by physician.
I have used Bellafill to those deep etched lines on the midforehead but only when my patient has committed to using Botox regularly in order to keep the dynamic muscle motion under control. Injection of glabellar folds is a delicate process requiring firm knowledge of the anatomy of the forehead. This should only be done by an experienced injector
Treatment of choice is to start with Botox and see how it improves over several sessions. Filler can be used there but there are additional risks with putting filler there so the recommendation is to place an HA filler. HA fillers can be dissolved if there is a vascular complication and Bellafill can not. Even if filler is placed, Botox should be used in conjunction. See link.
Bellafill would definitely help your problem although itwould not eliminate it. To accomplishthat, you would need to have some Botox to slow down the muscles that arecausing the wrinkle. Be very carefullwho you see to have this done. There canbe catastrophic complications like blindness from injecting filler in thearea. I would recommend you see a boardcertified plastic surgeon or dermatologist who uses a cannula to inject as thisis a much safer technique than a needle technique.I have added a video on filler safety for you along with aweb reference.I hope that helps.Best regards.
It is interesting what some injectors are promoting. There is certainly no scientific evidence that would support a claim that a filler in the jaw would support a neck lift. If you look at the video I have added you will see how little is actually in a syringe. This small amount could not...
Filler migration and granuloma formation can cause longterm problems with Bellafill and Artefill fillers. This is similar in patients who have Artecoll and PMMA fillers. Longterm filler complications include migration, edema, chronic swelling, and nodularity. If patients have filler migration or...
While Bellafill can be molded a little bit right when it is being injected, after about an hour it will no longer move and it will remain in place. If your injection was recent then you are likely experiencing changes due to swelling that can change the shape of your lips for about 3 weeks ...
