Can Bellafill intentionally be moved in the face with massage? I had bellafill in the "cupid's bow" above my upper lip.

Bellafill and all fillers can be somewhat molded when the are injected into the skin immediately.  after some time however, the bellafill integrates into the tissue and build collagen.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I don't recommend placement of Bellafill in this area. There is too much muscle movement and it can form nodules or migrate. You can try massage, it won't hurt but probably won't do much. Poorly placed Bellafill almost always needs surgical excision. If after several months it is still an issue and you want to try something short of surgery, injections with 5FU have been reported to have some success.

While Bellafill can be molded a little bit right when it is being injected, after about an hour it will no longer move and it will remain in place.  If your injection was recent then you are likely experiencing changes due to swelling that can change the shape of your lips for about 3 weeks after your treatment.I have added a video and web reference for more information for you.I hope that helps.Best regards.
