Looking to get rhinoplasty completed in February 2019. I am beginning my consultations for rhinoplasty in the Denver metro area to reduce the bulbous look of my nose. No breathing problems to address.

Hello,Thanks for your question. Depending on your needs, $10,000 may be actually more than what you will actually pay to reduce a bulbous nasal tip. If your whole nose needs reduction to make it fit your face in a nicer way, then this price is in a reasonable ballpark. I would recommend that you consult with a local Denver rhinoplasty specialist for an evaluation and for simulations to be performed. From there, a custom price quote can be generated. Prices vary from Practice to Practice, experience of a Surgeon, and other factors. So depending on techniques utilized, if or not cartage grafting involved, your Surgeon's expertise in the field - this is not the highest fee ( remember- facility and Anesthesia providers need to be paid as well). Prices for any cosmetic surgery will vary by geographical location as well as by market forces (i.e., how in-demand a given surgeon is). It's usually possible to call several practices in your area to get a sense of the range of prices for a given procedure. Beware of one that's too cheap, though!
$10K for a primary rhinoplasty may be a bit on the high side, but of course Denver real estate is on the expensive side (which means higher office costs, higher surgery center costs, etc.). Here in Jacksonville, Florida prices are somewhat lower for the same reasons.

The cost depends on many factors. For a primary rhinoplasty I think you’re in the right range. Price and quality of results don’t always correspond so just meet a surgeon that you feel comfortable with.

The cost of a given surgery depends on many factors including your locale, the difficulty involved in meeting your goals, the experience and reputation of the surgeon, whether it is done in a hospital or ambulatory surgeon center.  All in all though, I think for most metropolitan areas, you are in the right ballpark.  I hope this has been helpful.

The cost of a rhinoplasty is directly related to time it takes to perform the procedure in an operating room, time monitored under anesthesia, and the surgeon's fees for performing the procedure in addition to all of the post operative follow-up appointments for 1 year.  Choose quality, not Price, since rhinoplasty is the most difficult operation to perform correctly in the entire  field of cosmetic surgery

Hi, 
Every physician has their own pricing structure which is dependent on several variables. Location is just one of those variables as the cost of doing business is higher in Denver then say Colorado Springs. 
Assuming you are doing just a straight forward rhinoplasty to get better definition of the tip, I would say $10,000 is high. In my practice it is notably less then $10k.  
More important then simply cost is to make sure you find a surgeon who has experience with the problem you are trying to address and  is comfortable doing that surgery. Make sure they are board certified by a legitimate board. Finally, pick someone you feel comfortable with and you feel you will have good rapport with.
