Dr. Jain and his staff are amazing! I was embarrassed of my nose for so long, but afraid of having rhinoplasty. I finally made the jump to go and have a consultation with Dr. Jain and he immediately made me feel comfortable, he’s incredibly easy to talk to and he makes the whole thing way less scary. He and his team helped me on my journey with rhinoplasty, and the results are amazing. I am no longer embarrassed of my nose. My experience was nothing but positive and I definitely recommend them!
Dr. Jain did an awesome job from initial consultation to surgery to follow up. I had saline implants about 14 years ago and one of them ruptured for an unknown reason. I had them replaced with silicone and couldn't be happier with the results. He takes the time to listen and talk with you and really cares about his patients. The whole office staff is wonderful, warm and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Jain and his practice!
I had two lesions under my left eye that were highly concerning to me because of health issues. Because of the proximity to my eye, I was worried about visible permanent scars. I was referred to Dr. Jain by a well-trusted colleague. Dr. Jain was nothing short of amazing and is a genuine professional. He is very kind, understanding, listens carefully and evaluates the issues efficiently and accurately. The removal process was a pain free experience. He expertly removed the lesions in a very short amount of time and made me feel very comfortable during the entire process. He explained exactly what he was going to do and what I could expect. I was so very impressed. 7 days later, the stitches were removed. I was so delighted to see that not only was the healing complete ... I could not see any scars! He is a wonderful plastic surgeon! I am so happy that I decided to choose Dr. Jain and am so delighted with all his staff too. They are all just wonderful. I love them all - and you will too! I highly recommend Dr. Jain and his staff for any of your concerns.
I love Dr. Jain and his staff! Dr. Jain tells you the truth about what he can do for you. I have had other doctors who promised what they would do and how I would look and it did not turn out that way. I am so happy with the procedure Dr. Jain did for me. He was very kind and honest with me. If you need a procedure done I recommend Dr. Jain. You will not be disappointed!
I have been a patient of Dr. Jain and the Institute of Plastic Surgery for several years. When I decided to begin looking for a plastic surgeon, I scheduled several consultations with various surgeons in Colorado Springs. Everyone I spoke with was professional, but honestly, no one left me with the comfort I felt I needed when making, what were for me, extremely important decisions about changing my body. I then met Dr. Jain. He was not only incredibly professional but had the type of demeanor that instantly made me feel comfortable. Our initial consultation was no less than an hour. I had a lot of questions! He was patient, understood my reservations and took the time to explain all of my options in great detail. I left the office optimistic and finally ready to take the next step. Prior to surgery, he and his entire team ensured that I was comfortable with the decisions we made and that I was at ease. Post-surgery (multiple cosmetic procedures), I had numerous follow up appointments at the Institute and everyone on his team was nothing short of fantastic. I am always greeted by name and made to feel (this may sound cliché) like part of their family. They have made the entire process truly comfortable and the environment they create is so warm and welcoming. Since the initial cosmetic procedures (I couldn’t be happier with my results!), I have seen Dr. Jain and his team for fillers, Botox, BBL, and Sculptra injections. Truthfully, my face looks years younger, and more importantly, I have a much needed renewed sense of confidence and self-esteem. Meeting with Dr. Jain and choosing him as my plastic surgeon was unequivocally the right decision for me. He has been so honest and attentive and I genuinely feel his primary focus is to ensure that what he does, is right for me. I am so happy with all of my results and continue to see him and his entire team for all of my “cosmetic maintenance”. Dr. Jain is without a doubt an exceptional plastic surgeon, but what makes him exemplary is his attention and compassion as is evidenced by his interest in his patients.
35 years ago, I had breast implant surgery. Over the course of those years, my breasts had encapsulated causing my breasts to look totally abnormal and very hard to the touch. Fast forward, I needed them removed. Dr Jain was recommended and I couldn't be more pleased. He replaced my implants (both of which had ruptured, but I didn't know it) with the type of implant that much reduces the possibility of encapsulation and no chance of old-school rupture. The results are simply stunning. Naturally soft, normal shaped and just the right size. The surgery was a bit complicated, but Dr. Jain's expertise was key in getting the results I wanted. Dr. Jain is gifted, and very attuned to the needs of the patient. He gave me a realistic description of what to expect and he delivered. His staff is wonderful--very attentive and supportive. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend.
The care that I received from Dr. Jain and his team was amazing! From my initial consultation to my surgery day to my aftercare I was so happy and confident and not nervous. He was professional and realistic and kept me calm throughout. I’m so glad I picked the Institute of Plastic Surgery.
I have had horrible cystic acne from a very young age. I’m 32 and I still break out on occasion. It doesn’t help that I pick at it either, but the scars are awful. I’ve always been self conscious about my face. I decided to go and do something about it when I decided I wanted a breast lift/aug. Some light shows more of the depth of these rolling scar better than others. It has been 24 hours since my surgery and I look like Freddy Krueger. More to follow as the days progress. Updated on 23 Sep 2018: So painful. Getting up in the middle of the night to reapply aquafore because it feels like my face is going to crack open. At least it’s distracting me from the pain of my breast augmentation. Updated on 23 Sep 2018: No goop. Just freshly washed skin with the provided cleanser from my PS. No aquaphor put on yet. Updated on 24 Sep 2018: Dual fraxel. Headed to my first post op appointment shortly. I have sunscreen and aquaphor all over my face. Still extremely swollen and I can’t open my mouth very wide to take in food or drink. Updated on 24 Sep 2018: PS said to switch to Crisco in lieu of Aquaphor since I am prone to breakouts. Now I’m highly suspicious if he’s trying to turn me into a delectable ham. I feel like I went to Aphrodite for beauty advice but ran into Apollo and he threw me into the sun. Oh sweet time, please pass quickly. Updated on 24 Sep 2018: I am gently removing the dead skin with soft gauze and my finger tips each time I wash. Updated on 26 Sep 2018: Some post shower pics for your horrifying pleasure, followed by some with fresh Crisco slathered grease. Updated on 26 Sep 2018: Less tight. Pain is more manageable Updated on 27 Sep 2018: Fresh out the shower and headed to post op follow up #2 Updated on 27 Sep 2018: I think my skin is ready for new makeup color. Think I have some pink undertones. Thoughts? (If you did not read this in a sarcastic tone, go get a new personality) Updated on 28 Sep 2018: Ok, so I still look like a hail damaged salami stick, but a certain nurse that’s name starts with an “A” and ends with “shely” says to give it time. And she’s right. This is a procedure to STIMULATE collagen growth and that does not happen over night and it does not happen with one procedure. The next steps are to get this treatment again in 6 months, but a milder form. Not going to lie, I kind of want to throw up at the prospect. But anyway, here’s one week post op with moisturizer fresh out the shower. Updated on 29 Sep 2018: So I have SPF40 with tint, moisturizer, and prescribed makeup from the PS office to help cover up the red (going to buy dog food and I’m just so excited!), but definitely look like [RS bleep]. It maybe the makeup or SPF that has some sheen in it that just accentuates the hail damage on my face...ugh. So unattractive. Updated on 30 Sep 2018: Ew. My face is still red, peeling, and disgusting. AND now I have breakouts. Updated on 1 Oct 2018: Headed to my next post op appointment. Pretty broken out, but better than the last two days. Updated on 2 Oct 2018: I am using the foundation that is proscribed to me by the doctor. Part of my issue with it appearing worse is that the foundation has a bit of a sheen to it which just reflects more light and all my imperfections. Updated on 5 Oct 2018: Ugh. Why, WHY can I not keep my pesky fingers off my face? I swear to god, I don’t even know I’m doing it. I just mindlessly pick at my face in the evening when I watch tv. I’m so disgusting. But anyway, I am 2 weeks PO today! Lemme just say again...ugh. *be positive, Emily* Anyone else chant to themselves? Btw, if you see a review (like one of mine) that has a bunch of ?????? in, don’t assume (like I did) that the person doesn’t know WTF they’re doing. No, that’s the individuals attempt as using emojis and they don’t show up. Damnit RealSelf, GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT! :( I digress. I can see a bunch of little pin point pricks (hehe prick) on my forehead. Tried to capture that in a photo, but it’s just not showing that well. I was told that this would happen, so not a big surprise. I had the most aggressive treatment done to my forehead and it looks the worst so far, but gain...2 weeks. Must. Be. Patient! I’m such an instant gratification person, so this is difficult. I DO see a difference in my marionette lines which is just a huge plus. Woot! And the craters in my cheeks have definitely had some improvements. And I’ve now been approved (thank god) to use a more aggressive acne prevention face wash, because damn...my face broke out. Updated on 12 Oct 2018: I’m starting to feel human! My face till kind of dry when I make facial movements, however I find it difficult to keep my skin “matte” so translucent powder throughout the day at work is a must. Some colleges and friends have commented that they do see a difference. My sister said “yes, I can still see your marks, but they are more shallow than before.” So that’s positive. My face does show improvement on my cheeks for sure. The photos don’t do it justice. Updated on 19 Oct 2018: Ok, I CAN really tell a difference now. I definitely think it has been worth it and I know the payoff will continue over the years as I produce more collagen. Is this the last step? No. I’ll get more laser treatments that the more mild in the next 6 months.
I have had fairly large breasts since high school. They were great and followed me everywhere. Then I went to college and gain the “freshmen 50” (yes 50, not 15) and they got quite large. Between yo-yo dieting, poor nutrition, and inconsistent exercising, they just look sad and deflated. Now that I’m 32, I have finally figured out how to feed myself and I’m stable enough that I’ve decided to go through with a breast augmentation. Going to the pre-op, I was told that because my nipples are basically at the equator, I’ll need a full on lift too. Awesome. Can’t wait to have THOSE scars. But whatever. My bewbs will look badass in clothes. But what was also very important to me is that I get big, fake looking boobs; definitely not going for the natural look. So I had this in mind when I went for my sizing appointment. I was like “hell yea! I want 800cc!” Gimme them tig ol bitties!” (Please note that I’m crazy and did up an entire power point and made a binder for the doctor and I’ll try to post that). And the nurse looked at me like I farted in a library. Ok, so my natural size is about a 36D (sunken in). So with the amount of breast tissue that I have, I wouldn’t be able to reach the steering wheel of my car because there would be a bunch of silicone in the way. This is not something I knew I would be dealing with. So! She had me try on 350cc first go around. Dear god, I had no idea that so little would make me look so much bigger. So we went here and there and ended up somewhere in between 450 and 550. The surgeon said that he’d make the call on the table. I’ll post an update of what I actually ended up with. Since I have so much tissue, the surgeon said we could go over the muscle. This is awesome because I would like a faster healing time and I love to lift weights. But again, he may have to make a different call based on what he unearths in my chest wall. To summarize... Age: 32 Kids: just the four legged kind Occupation: military Height: 5’6” Weight: 145 Build: I like to say athletic, but that’s really subjective. Updated on 17 Sep 2018: To do a little bit of a "deep dive" into the amount of breast tissue... Like I said before, I am a very sunken in 36Dish. Even though I am deflated and have zero upper pole volume, I do still have a fair amount of breast tissue. The reason going with 800cc is not a great idea is that it would be added to what I already have (surgeon estimated about 300-350cc of my own tissue). If you can imagine getting 800cc on top of the 300+cc I already have, that would cause me to fall face forward with 1100+cc give or take. Going with the 450-550 range, that will put me closer to the look I am going for with a full 800cc look (based on all the wish boobies). If I had much less tissue and still wanted to obtain that full look, then I could go higher. Everything is so dependent on what you are currently working with; as much research as you do on the subject, it really comes down to what you're working with and what your surgeon says is possible for you. Go into this with an open mind. Know that what you want (ex: "I'm 5'2", 90lbs, 32AA, and I want 1200cc bewbs!) is not always possible - at least for the first operation. Don't be so stubborn that you aren't willing to compromise size when it comes to doing what is best for your health. I always think of more stuff based on my appointments, so I maybe a little all over the place. I'll keep adding the more I remember. Updated on 17 Sep 2018: This is a slide show I made (out of boredom) for my surgeon to reference, and to add some levity to the situation. Here are some more words so I can meet the minimum 200 character requirement. Today's word of the day is "chiliad" meaning a group of 1000. I also ordered a pink wig from amazon, so I'm pretty stoked to get that in. Updated on 18 Sep 2018: You can see that I gap in my 36D, Victoria’s Secret very sexy push-up bra. Didn’t used to :( I have no upper pole volume and my [RS bleep] are facing both the west coast and the east coast. No amount of push-ups or chest exercises will get them back to their former glory. Here are some more words to fill up the 200 character requirement. Today’s word of the day is “Lenitive.” - alleviating pain or harshness; soothing. Updated on 20 Sep 2018: And here we are at sagsville. Surgery bright and early tomorrow! Updated on 22 Sep 2018: I’m actually very surprised with how good they look one day after. Little sore, but not too bad with meds. Just took a shower and saw them for the first time and am quite pleased. I also had a very intense fraxel lasering done on my face, so that is where the majority of my pain is. Updated on 22 Sep 2018: My apologies, I put “unders” when I in fact have “overs.” He went in with 505cc, over the muscle, full anchor lift, textured and round implants. Updated on 23 Sep 2018: 505cc textured round over the muscle high profile. Full anchor lift. Updated on 24 Sep 2018: Pretty swollen and bloated. I feel like all of me just has tons of extra water. Finally pooped yesterday. I ate so many prunes, exlax, and magnesium it was bound to happen. But damn if I don’t till feel full of [RS bleep]. Updated on 26 Sep 2018: 505cc over round textured silicone by sientra Updated on 26 Sep 2018: Very little pain. Just more so getting used to side boob brushing up against my inner bicep. Still very bloated. Missing the gym like crazy! Updated on 27 Sep 2018: Two kitties and one long haired chihuahua and I am spoiled by the love Updated on 27 Sep 2018: Headed to next post op #2 check in Updated on 28 Sep 2018: One week down. They are still enormous and I love them. I kind of feel like those douchey body builders who can’t put their arms down by their sides because their biceps are so big? Mine are my ta-tas. Can’t wait to go to the gym again! Updated on 28 Sep 2018: No bra tank. Feeling myself now that I’m ditching those pain meds! Still bloated AF. Updated on 28 Sep 2018: You know I’m sneaking in some boobie shots in my IG and bless my friends who tell me “oh they look so natural!” Yeah...bippity boppity [RS bleep]. They are as natural as PETA supporting a meat processing plant. Let’s call a spade a spade and not set unrealistic expectations. Updated on 2 Oct 2018: Almost two weeks with the BAMF and I’m loving it. I’m going insane without the gym. I’m buying useless [RS bleep] on amazon and HauteLook. So now I own five wigs and I make them look awesome thanks to some YouTube vids. And I have more makeup than I know what to do with. Please Dr. J. Clear me for some heart elevating exercise! “Emily, you only get the chance to heal well once.” -Dr J ???? Also, for those of you that are concerned with the cleanliness of my bathroom...I’m cleaning now. ???????? Updated on 5 Oct 2018: Having the opposite of “boob greed.” I’m larger than I expected. I can’t decide how I feel. I’m hoping some of it is still swelling. I feel like I can’t look elegant in anything because I’m all [RS bleep]. I might just need to get over myself and take some time to get used to them. Updated on 12 Oct 2018: They’re starting to soften and drop. I hope they don’t drop TOO much more though. Getting used to them being there and in clothes. Still back and forth on the size, but I think once I wee a bra that pulls them together more, I’ll feel better. Just feel like I look like a linebacker. Updated on 12 Oct 2018: So I am bad patient. Nurse Ashely “just leave the tape on me I’ll take it off at your next appointment if it hasn’t fallen off by then.” To be fair, a small portion WAS starting to roll up on itself. And then after that...it was like how you can’t stop pulling on a hangnail and so you remove half the skin on your finger. No? Just me? Ok then. I SMELLED SO BAD. I could smell the sweaty, nasty, 3 week old tape. I smell like a rotting corpse. That’s dramatic, but it was nauseating. To me, I still smelled like surgery. So you can guess what I did right? No? I pulled the damn tape off. Updated on 16 Oct 2018: I’ve got some bruising going on, but all in all, my scars aren’t nearly as bad as i thought they’d be. Excuse the stretch marks. Those were there before. Updated on 19 Oct 2018: YES! OMG YES! Went for my four week checkup yesterday and am cleared to workout! Went and did some light legs and hot damn...I am weak AF. Also, where did my butt go!? I have Embrace scar therapy on (btw that [RS bleep] is expensive) and it’s supposed to stay on for 7-10 days before I get a new one put on. Holds the nips in so that’s a bonus. That bruise is unsightly. Going to find some arnica gel today (nurse Ashley says it actually works). Slowly getting used to them. I don’t have to buy all new sports bras for work so that is a HUGE plus. I don’t exaggerate when I say I have 30; I’ve also had them for four years, but let’s not talk about that... So no high impact for a hot minute, but I did some light legs. Could barely walk out of the gym, but definitely did a celebratory fist pump. You can definitely tell I got my boobs done, but I don’t feel the proportions are unsightly in my gym apparel.
Dr. Jain and his entire staff are so amazing in every way! They were so accommodating to make my surgery happen that best suited a recovery that worked with my schedule. I absolutely love my results. I wanted a natural look and he completely exceeded my expectations. He offered his professional opinion and fully considered what look I was hoping to achieve. I completely understand why there is a wait to get in to see him... because he is worth the wait!
Hi, Every physician has their own pricing structure which is dependent on several variables. Location is just one of those variables as the cost of doing business is higher in Denver then say Colorado Springs. Assuming you are doing just a straight forward rhinoplasty to get better definition of the tip, I would say $10,000 is high. In my practice it is notably less then $10k. More important then simply cost is to make sure you find a surgeon who has experience with the problem you are trying to address and is comfortable doing that surgery. Make sure they are board certified by a legitimate board. Finally, pick someone you feel comfortable with and you feel you will have good rapport with. Best of luck! Rupesh Jain, MD
Hi, We often see patients that live hours away from our office in Colorado Springs. I will have a lengthy discussion with our patients regarding the recovery process and expectations before scheduling the surgery so that patients can plan appropriately. I will usually see rhinoplasty patients back 1-2 times in the first week depending upon how far away they live. If there are any questions or concerns during the recovery period, I tell all our patients to call our office at any time so we can decide if they need to be seen sooner. We will often adjust the follow up time line based on where the patient lives. I do not see any significant issues with traveling 5 hours except to say that you should stop the car more often to stretch your legs to minimize the risk of blood clots. Before proceeding with surgery, make sure your surgeon is aware of your circumstances. Best of luck, Rupesh Jain, M.D.
Hi, I do think that the overall appearance of your nose is improved. It seems at though you would like to see more definition to the tip. Since it has been a full year since your surgery, which is the minimum recommended time before evaluating the final result from a rhinoplasty, I think the best option is to see a few surgeons that are experienced with revision rhinoplasty to get their opinions. Best Wishes.
Hi. My opinion is that breast augmentation with a lift would be ideal. You could do the BA without the lift if you go with a large implant but that may require placing an implant larger than you desire. There are some other variables that a board certified plastic surgeon can discuss with you before making such a decision. I would also recommend getting a few consults before making that decision. For your abdomen, I think there might be enough skin to do a mini TT but that would be better assessed during a consultation. Liposuction by itself will not tighten any loose skin that is present. The best option would be to get the opinion of several options. Best of luck to you, Rupesh Jain, M.D., Colorado Springs.
Thank you for your question. While there is some hunching after tummy tuck surgery, most patients should have no problem standing up straight after about a week post-surgery. I recommend that you talk to your plastic surgeon - they know your specific case and recovery process, so they are best able to let you know how to start moving around and straightening gradually. Best of luck! Best, Rupesh Jain, MD
